HBO is one of the promoters... They have high business stakes in the fight...

So it doesn't matter that Marquez has never been a big draw but somehow on Sept 19. he draws like Hoya. :patsch

I know you're joking but I don't want to see that EVER. Morales is past it and it was painful enough for me to see him lose against David Diaz, no more of that PLEASE.

This nutjob is NOT a fan of boxing, just a clueless piece of garbage.

Why the HELL would a boxing fan wish that a boxing event fails ESPECIALLY when it's competing with UFC(which is anti-boxing all the way)?

This ape is nothing but a Pac fan and NO ONE else. Once Pac decides to retire he will go back to the tree house he came from and rid us of his idiocy.

Well, not that I'm siding with OP here or anything, but yeah. With the advent of 24/7 and JMM's heightened national profile of late, it makes perfect sense to me. He's actually a native son of Distrito Federal; Oscar's just a Hollywood chicano.

It was reported this supposedly "superfight" is having problems selling tickets... What do you think is the reason?? As boxing fans we might be interested why the "cash cow" of our sport is having problems selling his fights... Can we do any actions to correct this problem?? How about not supporting the mismatch fights being continually feed to us fans at very expensive prices??

As expected, fully ignoring what I shared in my post. Baldomir/Mayweather didn't sell-out like Pacquiao/Morales did yet it made MORE in PPV numbers. Care to explain?

You guys should bet his response to this would be "People bought it because of Baldomir". Bazooka will sure as hell support that.

They always say people bought a Floyd fight for the wrong reason - to see him lose...:hi: Based on that we can say that fans bought the fight because of Baldomir, they want to see Baldo beat the **** out of Floyd...

Well I admit, Floyd is a master of having publicity using the wrong reasons... In other words, negative publicity... His weigh-in trickery and revision of the fight contract one day before the fight are the latest of these negative publicities...:hi:

IT JUST SHOWS JMM ask his PEOPLE and FANS FOR SUPPORT. we back up OUR OWN .CHICANO'S and the MEXICANS from over here UNITED as ONE. I for one thought PAC and HATTON were going to BREAK al time PPV RECORDS.PAC fans depend on his oponents to BUY PPV .he will never BREAK any RECORDS,becouse of his CHEAP FANS.I HATE TO SAY THAT BUT it is TRUE.look at pinas 100 million people and they cant BUST A GRAPE in PPV SALES. maybe instead of 40 per house hold watching the fight go 20 DEEP. then maybe pinas will get 50THOUSAND PPV come on I KNOW YOU CHANGOS CAN DOOOO IT:good
