I thought the person who mentioned the 10k ticket is the author of the article? LOL

Why are you guys bashing the thread starter anyway? I don't really care but I'm just curious because I've seen a couple of threads that's quite similiar to this and the other posters are bashing the thread starter :patsch

Anyway back to the topic. I'm not surprise that the Mayweather-Marquez ticket sales is not going well. There are only a few boxing fans that can appreciate Mayweather and Marquez's boxing style. Many boxing fans prefer explosive style such as Pacquiao and Cotto's style hence the better ticket sales revenue.

The ticket sales may reflect the PPV revenue aswell, less people buying tickets means that a few people are uninterested this match. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Mayweather and Marquez shouldn't fight because their sales revenue is current in the bad condition. I would like to see this fight more than anyone but I don't really want to pay to watch this fight.

Secondly we dont know how many people will pay to watch the fight.

We're talking ticket sales here which is "rumored" having problems... Generally ticket sales trend indicates PPV sales trend...;) Of course there's always an exception to the general rule but IMO this fight is NOT an exception...:D

    I hate this sorta thread.

When a poster supporting a news (rumour or not) that a fight is in trouble before the fight happens. Goes to show you're not a fan of the sport, and part of you wants to destroy it along with a fighter you hate.

You're opening up several Marquez-Mayweather threads per day, and you're going to tell us that you're not going to watch the fight?:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Where I'm at, we're getting Klitchko-Arreola on free HBO......if it were PPV here in the US, it likely would do less than 100K!

I dont believe for a second that buxzer will go without seeing JMM-Mayweather, he's invested so much of his time talking about it!:lol::lol:

Chalk up one PPV for buxzer.......and to every ******* for that matter.......

One thing about *******s, they are either one of two things......they hate JMM with passion fjor having the audacity to school Manny Pacquiao that they will tune in to see him lose........or they respect him immensely for his fights against Pacquiao that they are now fans of his.......either way, they will buy the PPV!!!:deal:yep

interesting numbers. if it does indeed do less than pac/cotto, it will make the negotiations for the pac/mayweather a little fairer

It's on free TV in the Philippines. Nationwide on channel ABS-CBN 2

    Slightly delayed (30 minutes+)

    Sunday morning, 10am-12 noon.

    Or live on internet streaming.

Most Filipino boxing fans will be able to watch it.

You still didnt answer my question.:rofl

So I will ask you again.

For someone who has no intention of watching this fight. Why do you spend more time than anyone else in creating threads about the fight on this forum. It's baffling beyond belief. lol

Even non boxing fans would watch it free. They will just look who wins as a posibble opponent for Pac(if he wins he gets the winner, he loses he gets the loser)
