Marquez is really tiny. He gained the weight in a bad way. Sure there was a difference in size, but Marquez is a small guy, a career featherweight/lightweight. Floyd is the size of an average junior middleweight who cuts about 7 to 10 pounds to make 140. Cotto is the size of a thick set 160-165 pound guy with thick bones and a big waist and legs who cuts down to welter.

He and Judah look pretty much exactly the same size, and Judah looks like he walks around at about 147. (I posted a pic where I weighed 140 right next to Judah in the Do Boxers Lie about their Height thread - Mayweather would look the same size as us).

That's what Floyd does, bloats up smaller guys or drains someone his size (Canelo).
But he fights them the same way: pot shotting and running around like a scared beootch :lol:

Juan receive an extra 600k $ so he was very happy. Floyd didn't call Juan out ,Juan asked for the fight.

Floyd looked more slim and trim against Marquez than he does now coming in at 150, you guys saying anything more than 150 are blind and ret arded...

If I fought every fight from now until I die scared and win them all comfortably, I'll choose that every time over fighting like a tough guy and getting beat up every now and then...

idk why people are taking their time arguing with this idiot. Mayweather is 5'8, turned pro at 130 and as an amateur fought as low as 106 just like Pacquiao did.

Mayweather looked much bigger and he was carrying lean weight. Marquez looked small and was bloated.
The man gained weight by hurling heavy rocks over his head for God's sake.

This is the thing about that matchup, Mayweather knew that even coming in heavy, he'd be faster than Marquez.
The only way Marquez had a chance to win vs Mayweather that night was for Marquez to have been the physically stronger fighter and Mayweather made sure by coming in heavy that that was not going to happen.

Listen, Mayweather wins that fight regardless, but cheating Marquez on the scales meant that Mayweather made certain every i was dotted and t was crossed.

Lmao, as if that was all it took for a Floyd fight. He picked marquez because he had 1000 and 1 advantages, two weight class jump, no intention of making weight, midnight hour contract re-write, to fight a bloated 130lber. The Best Ever, right? TBE needs every damn advantage??

I don't know, it's kind of tough to go by how they look. Floyd looked a lot bigger, but he's not a guy that rehydrates that much. I don't think he looked that much lighter than Maidana, but unofficially was outweighed by 16 lbs or so.
