He deserves it, would i mind it? NOPE. 2 ATGs **** it

Do i favor Marquez **** NO... 75-25, styles Match up. But I wouldn't mind it one bit. Would be interesting to see Marque'z new game plan and if he lands a right like the one from the first KD of PAC, that should be very interesting.

Mayweeathe is more flat footed more then ever so that may help marquez... maquez would have to turn into a boxer puncher, which would be very hard. but it could be done.

I would rather see Marquez take out Bradley or Danny garcia, fight PAC one more time and retire.

not of equal styles an skillset.

with one having all the physical advantages and specilally height and reach which are the most important where both are counter punchers..

Now CANELO vs Mayweather that's where it's at.. you may very well see *****s suffer the same fate as PAC did, seeing their hero laid out on the floor, at 154 Canelo can KTFO may as May is not a big 154 pounder.

Marquez was seriously affected by mass lifting the first time,
now he seems to be more comfortable at that weight which
would give him more speed and fluidity. That means he
could steal some rounds and would be fast enough
to catch and trouble Mayweather to get SD lose
he could hurt Maywetaher as well but he is not a good finisher
to capitalize on that ... so I would guess his chances are slim.

Mayweather was flat footed and aggressive against Cotto because he could be. Mayweather did'nt fear Cotto's ability to counter him.

How do you explain Cotto being more aggressive against a 154 lbs Cotto than he was a lightweight Marquez?
Its the knowing that Marquez was fully capable of countering his aggressiveness.

Mayweather fought a great fight against a smaller skilled counterpuncher, defensive and using his height and reach to stretch back in his shoulder roll stance and make Marquez have to lunge at him.

A fighter of Marquez' height and reach only chance to beat Mayweather is to take the fight to the inside and bully Mayweather.
At welter its not going to happen.

they are two counter punchers. mayweather is bigger and stronger (although maybe not now) and a better boxer. I dunno. the first fight marquez was too slow and he hasn't got any faster with the added weight. he would have to go after mayweather, not something he does well.
