Mayweather/Marquez in discussions

Pac carries the weight much better because he apparently couldn't make the weight anymore. Marquez really is too small for 135 much less 140 much less 147. How can you support it? Its like Marquez fighting gerry penalosa...

like i said marquez was the one who called out floyd not the other way around, how he manages to be successful in that weight is beyond me. Its not like he wants to fight floyd just to lose. Its the same exact thing you and other people think how crazy it was after pac called out DLH, hey guess what if marquez wins I'll bet you're going to be one of those people who who'd post everyday how great marquez is

 

floyd doesn't pick on the little guys, it just so happens that the little guys are the current best boxers of today, floyd was the smaller guy when he fought corrales,castillo,dlh,baldomir, etc. so stop exaggerating

 

real truth in tha post the haters ignore the fact why he was called "little floyd" he was rarely bigger then most of his comp coming from 130:deal

 

Ricky Hatton is the only guy that Floyd fought that was moving up in weight, and that was one fight after moved up in weight to fight Oscar. And there really aren't many fighters around Floyd's weight class that are faster than him. Judah is the only guy that I can think of and he moved up in weight to fight him.

This is all a moot point anyway as Floyd is not going to fight Marquez.

What makes you think Cotto would fight Floyd? The guy wanted no parts of Floyd when they were at 140, his promoter paid step aside money when he came up to 147 so that Cotto could fight for a belt Hatton vacated instead of going after Mayweather, and Cotto(nor Top Rank for that matter) ever made any effort to get Mayweather in the ring.
