I went to the press conference and noticed a few things.

1 - FLoyd's head is ****in' huge. No joke. It looks smaller on TV and in pictures, but his dome is ridiculously large. Clottey status kinda ****.

2 - The size difference between the two is completely obvious. Floyd was just in a long sleeve white tee and Marquez was in a suit. When they stood face to face Floyd was not only taller, but seem much more dense in muscle mass. He was MUCH bigger. AND MARQUEZ WAS WEARING A SUIT and still looked small.

3 - Marquez kept using terms that showed his lack of confidence. "Im going to try" or "This isnt my weight class"...it seems to me the excuses are already in his mind. After he kept subtly doubting himself, he went back to promoting the fight and saying that he is going to do the impossible etc. etc.

4 - Floyd wasn't doing his usual antics. He was very humble and just said that he missed the sport, is training really hard, and wants to beat the best etc. etc. It was a bit odd to see him so toned down. I expected him to be a royal dick, but he was actually pretty calm. Even with people yelling insulting/funny ****.

5 - Many people kept shouting Pac's name, in which he retorted "Yea Pacquiao is a good fighter too." He said it with some sincerity so I think he understands that Pac is not someone he can walk through and outpoint/outclass like many of his ****** ass fans (not all but some) think he can.

6 - Roger Mayweather is a funny ass dude. He was talking...most of the promotion quotes were in the front page of ESB, but it was pretty funny when someone shouted something in Spanish he said "Yea I dont make tacos my friend...sorry" ****ed up but funny. As he walked up to the podium, peole chanted "Chavez" "Chavez" "Chavez" because he was announced as a former Mexicutioner .

7 - I noticed a lot of Fillipino people around that rooted for Marquez...found that interesting because I was also at the Pacquiao fight and noticed many mexicans/latinos supporting Pac. It seems both nations have earned each other's respect. Good stuff.

8 - Not a lot of Mayweather fans in LA

9 - Going to this kinda **** makes the fight SOOOOO much better. I suggest if there is ever an opportunity to make it to one...do it!

10 - Oscar is STILL a douche :-:)verysad

Void knows this is a setup for for him. He gets paid huge dollars for a fight that he does not even have to train for. I have no interest in such a bullcrap fight.

This is mainly a litmus test to see how rusted Mayweather is. Kind of a guage for Pac's chances against him.

It's worth watching, but not for action sakes.

It wasnt a sneak in. He truly is.

"Styles make fights and Marquez has the style to beat Mayweather."

"I dont care what anyone says Marquez beat Pacquiao twice" :-:)roll:

    Amongst other things.
What was funnier was what people kept shouting "STOP SINGING CABRON!"..."mas puto!"..."Manny kicked your ass!"

They didn't talk about it. Mayweather was being interviewed by the TV press and most of his security guards didn't let you ANYWHERE near the guy.

Marquez was ambushed by 60 fans or so and simply did Radio interviews. He was mainly talking about the fight itself and his training. He mentioned trying to become a Mexican legend etc. etc. He was basically too busy signing autographs to really talk about the purse.

It was funnier when Mayweather was up there.

"You gotta beat the best to be the best"
*random voice shouts* "Fight someone your own size!" "Fight Cotto! Margarito! Mosley!"
    -----------------------------
"Floyd came back to boxing because"
    *random voice shouts* "HE'S BROKE!"
    -----------------------------
"He generated the most amount of money in 2 PPVS"
*random voice shouts* "I want my money back!"
    -----------------------------
    "Im undefeated"
*random voice shouts* "You lost to Castillo!" "You ducked Cotto!" "Until Manny kick's your ass!"

I mean...total barrage of ****. ****ed up but funny. You can only laugh at it. Im sure this is where most of the toned down nature of Floyd stems from. Having to deal with the criticisms.
