Looks like Mayweather didn't give a **** about the 144lb catchweight.

    PBF - 146
    Marquez - 142

Disapointing does not even describe it.

I hope Marquez gets a bigger split of the money then.

Isn't that was usually happens in this situation?

Marquez could have come in at 144 but chose 142 where he feels most comfortable.

yes...word is it was agreed yesterday that marquez would get paid a penalty for each pound over 144...
so...if marquez agreed to it and took the money, then it is what it is..
some people on here up in arms about it...i wouldnt be too fussed about it to be honest...
would they prefer the fight cancelled ??
nah..i have no real problem with it.

Obviously not, but its still disapointing for those of us wanting a spectacle. It was already a huge ask for a guy that recently moved to lightweight to take on a guy thats been fighting at welterweight for years.

Yep I agree, it would have been better for Joe Public if Floyd had stuck to the 144.

Just listening to the sports bit on Sky News..... they aren't even mentioning Marquez at all - don't get me wrong he is an underdog, but the newsreader seems to have it in his mind that Floyd will blast Marquez out.

    A bit disrespectful IMO.

Moreover, I didnt hear a word from Sky about Floyd being over the 144ib catchweight, did I miss something?

I wonder who will be commentating this one. Last night Darke and McCrory were commentating on the Daws-Morrison fight and they had Nelson in the studio?

Floyd could probably bite JMM's ear off and Sky wouldn't say a thing.

It'll probably be forgotten by the sky team that its meant to be a catchweight fight as they seem to be nuthugging floyd.

While im meantioning nuthugging. I heard watt and smith are commentating.
