Mayweather, Martinez or Manila.

Surely if Pacquaio is to fight on it must be the super fight against Mayweather or stretch himself even further to fight at middleweight against Martinez. What possible good would it do to fight Mosley or rematch Marquez. If there is nothing more to be gained is it now time to return to Manila and elected office?

 

Good point, put on a big show in Manila and to hell with the PPV and big time promotors. The Philipines have been huge in their support for Pacquaio and it would be recognition and reward for that. It wouldn't hurt his political career either.

 

I take your point, granted. But I don't think Manny needs the money at this stage. He dosen't appear to be too concerned with all the bling bling. Of course Arum is a money sucking vulture but whats Manny's motivation?

 

Fighting over the precentages is a pissing contest to prove who is top dog. 100% of nothing is still nothing. It's just about face and who comes first in the pecking order.

You become rich by being successful and being smart with that success.

So back to the original argument, why continue if there is nothing more to prove.

 

We've already addressed the issue that he no longer needs the money. If money was the only motivation he should go straight back to Congress. Politics makes boxing money look like chump change.
