Agreed. Cano-Theophane and Ishe Smith-Molina are nailed on to both go the full 12 rds unless there is a freak injury or fight ending cut so i think the earliest Matthysse-Garcia fight will be on will be 3.30/3.45am and Alvarez-Mayweather around 4.30am but more likely 5am with all the promo build up videos and ring walks being shown first. Definately worth staying up for though.
I was wondering that too. You can always get it on a steam though - I reckon Canelo will come in just over 152 and be given 2 hours to shed the extra ounces which will add to the drama
I'm going to set Sky+ to record from 130am, go to bed about 11pm and then sleep for a few hours then get up about 230am. If it finishes about 6am I can hopefully get a couple more hours sleep before I have to be up again around 8am to go out on Sunday.
From BoxNation's twitter: Theophane-Cano from 2am, Smith-Molina from 2.30am, Garcia-Matthysse from 3am, Mayweather-Alvarez from 4am (all UK times)
for people in teh eastern time zone that means: Theophane-Cano from 9:00 PM EST Smith-Molina from 9:30 PM EST Garcia-Matthysse from 10 PM EST Mayweather-Alvarez from 11 PM EST
Prime time for ALL major PPV start at 2am?Screw that-who in their right mind stays up until 4 am to watch ?No wonder you get the fights for peanuts.I will gladly pay the $65 to watch it at a reasonable time.:nut
For the people in Burundi that means Theophane-Cano from 3:00 AM CAT Smith-Molina from 3:30 AM CAT Garcia-Matthysse from 4 AM CAT Mayweather-Alvarez from 5 AM CAT
Not really that surprising though is it, any promoter is going to put the ppv on at a time its going to make most money for the masses, so if the fight is in America, to draw maximum PPV you need it tailoring to that audience
Yeah, quit my job in Holland. I am no longer going to be a teacher. Sick of it, twelve years was enough for me. Teaching abroad was fun, Holland was cool, but I'm done with it now. Here in the UK until something comes along. Might go abroad again, but never to teach. I never cancelled my subs to BN while I was out of the country for the year, so I'm good to go Saturday night (I watched it when I flew back here during the holidays)! My tips are: Floyd UD Lucas TKO8 The rest I can do without, though I will still watch. I don't know enough about Ashley Theopane other than he's been beaten by Danny Garcia and four others.
Settle down old timer I love watching at 4 in the morning, my old man used to wake me up for the big fights from MSG/Vegas when I was a kid, for me its tradition. Normally getting back from a night out anyway when these cards start so for me its perfect :happy
