Pac didn't ko jmm and knocked him down 3 times...i dont like that comparison...JMM is tough and floyd never threw any combos at him in that fight

pac and floyd both ko'd hatton in a similar way, hatton walked into both and both were counters.

You have to remember.....JMM was fighting TWO weight classes above his natural weight class. JMM faught PAC at his ideal weight and at PAC's ideal weight.

Just b/c Floyd didn't throw many combos at JMM doesn't mean that him being NATRUALLY larger and bigger wouldn't be able to catch the smaller man at some point and put him out. I mean....he had him in the 2nd round and couldn't finish him. I thought Floyd was going to get the KO myself and was surprised JMM went the distance...and it had nothing to do with me feeling Floyd has a lot of KO power...it had to do with Floyd being faster, bigger and natrually stronger.

if you think pbf didn't put weight behind his punch you are stoopid, floyd pivoted into that left hook and moved out the way.

I agree with that.....that punch PAC threw was really a freak of nature kind of shot. He actually SAT DOWN on that shot where normally PAC is bouncing on his toes...darting in and out , left to right and never really threw punches like he landed on Ricky to stretch him out.

I think Manny has power but that KO came from speed, timing and perfect placement. It would have KO'd anyone and it doesn't mean Manny is a heavy hitter at 147. Now he's got power but I think like always Manny's a volume puncer who gets his stoppages from volume and breaking down his foe.

not at all....but all im saying is that thread starter is talking about fights at 147 and pac hasn't really shown extreme power when facing someone at 147 who is actually a healthy 147...

so i said idk who has more power..

I think floyd would beat clottey up a lot worst than pac did....

No doubt! I'm not sure why everyone thinks of manny as a heavy handed fighter. He's clearly a fighter who usually gets a TKO or stoppage. I don't think he's EVER ko'd anyone else like he did with Ricky.

I think Roach said that to take a jab at Floyd. I'm sure Roach knows Floyd is still in his prime.

Mayweather rocked Oscar, and looked like he could have finished Shane Mosley of all people... but I would still give a slight edge to Pac considering that even at lower weights(from 135 up) comparatively speaking, Pac has shown a lot more pop in his punches. When a guy has power he just has power. Pacquiao's power may not be quite the same at 147, but Floyd has never been a power puncher from the beginning.
