Massive supporter of Mayweather followed him all his career, but really feel the Pacquaio fight might be to much for him, I think the Mosley win was slightly overated, Because Mosley's work rate wasn't there which made it easy for Floyd to pick his shots.but whenever someone has an excellent work rate and speed and stamina to keep banging at him throughout the whole fight it can pose a problem.. Like Ricky hatton even put up a better fight against Mayweather than Mosley.. because he had the stamina to keep pressing the attack on Mayweather, I really feel Mayweather will have a handful dealing with Pacquiao's Speed, Stamina, work rate, power etc, I dont feel like Mayweather can win with the one shot at a time method, he will hafto trade with Pacquiao to win this. Because Pacquiao will not just stand there like Mosley thinking about whether to punch or not.

only thing mayweather will be "loosing" is letting loose that straight right on pac's face all night long... :rofl

but i think you meant "lose"... which i disagree with... :good

Style make fights and paquiao style is perfect for mayweather to counter all night long... even with all the work rate make more oportunities for floyd to counter than paquiao to land his punches..

Jesus Chavez and Ricky Hatton both tried that, but they failed miserably, while they didn't manage to bother Maywather much. They succeeded in getting him out of his comfort zone, but that's pretty much it, Mayweather adjusted and beat them easily. Of course Pacquiao is better than those guys, which makes this potential fight interesting. I still think Mayweather manages to beat Pac though.

Define 'he put up a better fight'.

Mosley managed to go the distance, while getting 1 round on two scorecards and 2 rounds on the third scorecard.

Hatton got KTFO while getting 1 round on two scorecards and 2 rounds on the third one up to the point of the stoppage.

Of course this fight won't be a walk in the park for Mayweather. Pacquiao can and probably will cause him problems. Still, Mayweather doesn't have stamina issues and I don't think he would have a problem countering Pac all night. Also, Pacquiao won't be able to have a field day throwing 100 punches per round as he did vs Clottey, without worrying about what comes back.

You are right he might lose. That's obvious in this one. Pacquiao does have a punchers chance.

There is no reason he will need to trade with Pacroid. Floyd is going to control him and bust him up with Jabs. There will be a thousand "secret sauce" threads about Pac and Freddie being geniuses, and all the great stuff they got for Mayweather, and the Promoters will have all of us, including myself, believing it before the fight. Then the fight will happen and it will be just about exactly like Floyd's last two fights.

... And then you woke up!

    "He might lose..."

    That applies to ANY fight.

And the natural corollary to this statement: You do not need to be Floyd Mayweather to beat Pacroid: Erik Morales, Medgoen Singsurat, Rustico Torrecampo, Juan Manuel Marquez, Agapito Sanchez
