Conor McGregor is being trashed as though he is a nobody. He has decent boxing ability so in sparring he'd hold his own. This is completely different than a boxing match where you have to establish your own gameplan over 12 rounds, against the second greatest boxer of his whole damn generation.

Had I to train a fighter for a world title level of competition, the last person I'd choose to spar with is a retired, fat, unsharp and inactive ex-boxer.

Tbh, the fact that they chose pauli gives us a good idea about the level connor has at boxing. He's worse than trash. For god's sake! That guy doesnt train since ages! look at his face, it's de la hoya kind of fat. He eat a cow and never again stepped into the gym again. No decent boxer would learn anything fighting this cow, he must be slow as F, plus he's pauli! no power at all, your boxer doesnt have even to respect him, sparring him now and dont sparring at all is the same if your boxer is decent.

Was just about to say the same thing. I wouldnt be surprised if it was make up, both sides are still in full on selling mode, both sides are doing this for the money this is a joint venture by 2 teams who know how to sell, neither team are taking anything the other side says or does as serious.
