Why would he be trying to foul up the Canelo/Broner fight?

Ronda is a man's name? Then you have Dana! What were these parents thinking when their sons were born? Yikes!

    Reminds me of this song:

I have to agree with you. Remember most are the type of watch and believe WWE wrestling. I was on their forum once and some guy who obviously was a big lover of pit bulls said he believed a pit-bull could take on a lion and kill it? Yes that's right - he said once the pit gets hold of the lions neck its game over. I am not making this up I can even link the thread ( just need to search it) he was your typical roid-head with a few put-bulls. Probably chews tobacco too!

Connor should loose. He's going to need more than one good shot.

but there are things he can do to maximize his chances.

-Spend everything he has for the first 5 rounds, after that its over.
-Confuse Mayweather with feints, keep switching the speed and power of his punches.
-Study Mayweathers defence ahead of time and don't hit him where he is, hit him where he will be.
-Focus more on the head. Floyd protects that body well but his swerving of head shots allows for shots to get in.
-Don't get discouraged by his counters, getting hit by Mayweather is not a bad thing, your goal should be to KO him not to win by points.
-Keep your guard loose, this allows for more versatility of punches.
-Talk smack when in on the inside.
-Look at his eyes, this might tell you where he plants to attack.
    - Step on his feet and shove him when he clinches.
-If he feels you are too dangerous he will start running. Don't chase him, beckon him come to you. You can't win if hes running either way. but do chase him sometimes. be unpredictable.
    - If you hurt him start hurling some serious bombs, but make them count and pace yourself. Don't waste your energy by throwing 30 punches that will probably miss anyways and have less power behind them.
-You can use a jab but make sure it has some power behind it, those weak jabs that most boxers throw are useless.
    - Try walking back every now and then, you can't do the same thing every time against Floyd.

try throwing lead hooks but close the distance first. he will adjust by throwing a counter or moving out of the way. you can confuse him by making it seem like your going to throw that hook, but don't throw it. instead try something else.

You don't think Manny Pacquiao, Gatti, Mosley, Canelo, Oscar, Cotto, Ricky and all the rest of his opponents didn't already try any of those things? Boxers adopt all those approaches naturally it doesn't have to be adopted in a gameplan

''look at his eyes'' Acting like mystic meg, isn't going to help when there are shots coming at you from all angles. You have never boxed a day in your life if you think that will do any help.

And ''talk smack on the inside'' Seriously just stop, none of that garbage you've written will do anything to help give a professional any edge let alone a crossover mma fighter.

The fight will competitive. This isn't prime Floyd. This is old Floyd. He can't dance for 12 anymore. At some point he's going to have to trade with Connor. Connor doesn't have a flair for throwing crazy shots. He's a guy who can punch hard throwing straight shots and Floyd will have to be careful early.

McGregor doesn't need a strategy to defeat Floyd he just needs to be Irish.

It's impossible to stop McGregor with a body shot.

McGregor doesn't need to pick up weapons to defeat someone who is five times his size like Floyd does.

Does Floyd hold any title to defend against McGregor?

Is this spectacle considered to be an "exhibition"?

(I keep thinking Ali vs the Japanese Wrestler; Evel Knievel vs The Snake River,
    or Patterson vs Pete Rademacher)

The WBC said they would be willing to put some bull**** title on the line.

Naturally, it would come at a price, and I don't think Floyd and Conor care to pay it:

boxers are not the brightest bunch, hence why they became boxers. Mayweather is, however, bright. I see Conor as being very bright as well.

Some of those boxers you mentioned are complete buffons. Tough, yes, but buffons neverthelesls.

Ricky was an undisciplined party boy, Canelo fought the dumbest fight you could fight. I saw Mosley fight Canelo, and i didin't see any signs of intelligence, he fought Canelos fight.
Oscar and Maidana did very well.
Gatti fought a different Floyd, not the 40 year old one we are talking about here.

I don't even want to talk about Pacquiao, that deserves a thread on its own, but I will say that Pacquiao had alot going against him that night and I think he could have done better.

I think Conor can do very well and will surprise everybody on this board. I don't think he's a great boxer but I do see him as being very determined and will try something unexpected.

I am getting sick of this, hes not a boxer from people that have never boxed in their lives. Fighting is fighting. I've never done UFC but I imagine there are alot of similarities.

You're kidding, right? 2 years retired, still holds a title to defend against 0-0-0 clown...?

Floyd's probably still a WBC Emeritus champ but one of the alphabets is bound to come up with "cinco de mayo" type of scam in order to collect a fee from the *winner.

    * they both have already won without even lacing up the gloves.
