Pac-May tickets sold out immediately. And I seriously doubt any actually made it to the general public. Pac-May also had sold out hotels immediately as well as the airport being booked to capacity for private jets.

I wonder what the minimum PPV buys is that they need it to hit before they make a profit?

One more thing which i need to mention. The proper boxing fans arent stupid they know this is a mismatch and most wont be splashing out there hard earnt cash on this nonsense. The proper MMA fans know this is a mismatch and they too wont be splashing out there hard earnt cash. Im guessing alot of people will be illagaly straming this or going to bars and pubs to watch it. I think they are gambling heavily on casuals.

C'mon. Its a fight between an ATG and a novice boxer. McGregor may of boxed before but at nowhere near this level. Its a complete mismatch.

UK details may be announced today. Eddie Hearn has just tweeted big news for Sky Sports Boxing this afternoon.

The hype dose seem to have died down a little bit since those pressers imo, I think they would have been better off doing one per week leading up to the fight, would have given them more time to prepare for each one as well.

they made a big mistake putting a money fight next to a real fight. some proper fans may actually have bought the fight if there was nothing else to watch that month.

actually, mayweather probably preferred it that way so that he can steal their spotlit (egomaniac), and somehow he convinced someone to put alot of money behind this.

A lot of people don't like Mayweather and it's easy to see why. His strategic nous - both in and outside the ring - turns a lot of people off as does his flashy cartoonish persona and for some people, unfortunately several things he has no control over which says more about them than him.

But... this is bigger than whether or not you like Mayweather. It's a fight in which the credibility of boxing as a combat sport is - in the eyes of the common man at least - at stake. With that in mind, not to mention Conor's own insufferable braggadocio can any true boxing man want McGregor to win in good conscience?

Yes, because it be wild as ****.

However, I want Floyd to win due to the fact UFC fans will short stroke their dicks if Conor wins.
