Mayweather/McGregor Fight Discussion

Yall been hating this fight since before it was even made.. Stop talking about it then.. Just because you see the name Mayweather on the title, don't mean you have to jump in and repeat hoe much of a stupid fight this is or how broke Floyd will be in xxx years.. We get it...lol

 

The disciplinary action was the commission then showed the gloves to Mayweather's team, told them they were suspect, and told them they could demand new gloves from the Maidana camp. That's what they did.

 

The fight stinks, just talk. Just like the whole fight and everything about it. Talk.

 

You are correct, it'll be more like kickboxing. But probably too dangerous for Floyd, a kick to a knee cap can be devastating.

I read a story on espn today that Floyd was trying to get the commission to allow 8oz gloves for their 154 pound fight. What do you think his reason is?wants to limit the incoming excuses, wants a better chance to win by KO or another reason? Just for the record I'm a little ashamed I'm even discussing this fight and will not be buying it but what do you guys think?

 

The reason is to make the casual public think Mayweather isn't what his reputation entails. The gloves will more than likely stay at 10 oz.

 

yeh you are 100% right that the everlast MX gloves have been allowed by the commission before, but not the pair maidana elected to use as they had been deemed tampered with and illegal

he had a backup pair of the same everlast MX gloves that were deemed fine by the commission for use.

They had supposedly broken them in and thinned/spread out the knuckle area noticeably. According to the commission and Maidana's camp never denied it. Garcia complained that they weren't allowed to use those same sealed gloves after but he never denied the initial bringing about of the gloves being disapproved. It was in the news but nobody talked about it or wanted to hear it... So, I dunno man.

The high risks are important here makes it more interesting and yes I might easily catch up but you could also easily pull way even more if you win the high risks.

 

Don't give me the Floyd is 40 crap. McZiggors has never boxed a single amateur or hofessional round and FMJ is supposed to be TBE and he is well preserved (well-timed vacations and ducks).

 

It makes him the laughing stock of all time in boxing. Like he seriously couldn't leave the house without grannys stopping and pissing their massive pants in front of him all hunched over...Suicide would be best imo
