This got to be the first Mega fight where you can't find any torrents for the All Access episodes. What is going on? The only way is to watch it on 480p on youtube

you really need someone to show you how a boxer with 0 fights doesnt know how to defend from an atg?

 

Don't need to look at this video to show the MANY flaws this man has when it comes to boxing. He's getting his a** whooped on the 26th

 

Paulie has nobody to blame but himself

 

A film study based on pictures. Guy probably thinks he has Connor all figured out.

 

And someone actually watched it. Then thought it was worth posting on a boxing board.

There is a video of McGregor...with a few of his boxing clips and he actually does show natural talent and speed on the bag. I was surprised. I'll be the first to admit this even though I shouldn't because at the end of the day, he is in UFC which you have to have confidence and skill to compete in.

What got me is I believed him when he said he beat up Malinaggi. They showed a video of Malinaggi talking crap and Malinaggi has no power and he's small guy compared to Connor.

It honestly looked like McGregor set Malinaggi up with a left uppercut, which is a great punch to throw against orthadox fighters. For example, Rigo and Lara use this all the time and take advantage of their reach.

He also looks like he was blasting Malinaggi with lefts. And honestly, Malinaggi runs his mouth too much. I believe Connor was pissed and called Malinaggi in and beat his ass. I would have done the same thing.

Dude does have real confidence. Floyd really should take this fight seriously. I really hope that Floyd erases all doubt in my mind, but maybe the hype is starting to get to me because at the end of the day, Conner is not just a punk, he actually has real talent.

He's going to outweigh Floyd by 20 lbs at least and he has longer reach. The big question is, does Floyd have power?

If so, no problem, but if not. It could be a harder fight than anticipated. I hope I'm crazy, but ya just never know.

Beating up Paulie =/= beating up Floyd

There's only two ways to win a fight - skill or luck. Conor will need to be super lucky to even be competitive.

Paulie looked beat up. I don't know, maybe McGregor is just a good liar, but Pauile looked like he had respect. I don't know what kind of power McGregor carries in his hands, but I will say that if you are confident that you can knock somebody out and that they will respect your power, you can have a lot to say in what dictates a fight.

Paulie has no power. So to me, it's possible McGregor just did what he wanted to do and didn't really worry about what was coming back. If he came at Malinaggi hard with some serious shots, maybe Malinaggi couldn't ever really get set with his game plan because every time he threw a punch, McGregor had one coming back, willing to trade shots.

That's all I'm saying. That's the one weakness that Mayweather could have. Power. I don't know. At a certain level, in weight classes to gain your opponent's respect, you have to show them you can bang. If you can't bang enough to make them back off, they will keep coming for you.

Now, Mayweather in his prime especially is one of the few guys that can do this, but I just hope Mayweather is sparring with long rangy southpaws. It would do him well to bring Lara into his camp, but also make sure he gets some sparring with some guys that are conventional fighters with range and size as well because you never know what Conner might bring.

Malinaggi did discuss traps. I have an idea of the traps Conner is setting up, but after watching a video of him, I wonder if he might try something that would be considered "new" today, but was common with other greats such as Willy Pep.

Speaking of Pep, both a defensive and offensive genius, albeit a lack of power, lost several times against the guy in the video below that was a little taller, was considered one of the hardest hitting featherweights in history, and also a better boxer than most fighters, has a sneaky left jab and hits like a bag of bricks.

If you see in the video, Pep was landing some serious combinations and this dude just maybe stutter stepped for maybe a split second and kept it moving. (Although I guess it would be fair to say that this was after Pep was involved in a plane crash four years before this fight).

I think him and Floyd get on, pretty sure they talk boxing in private, which i find even more bizzare why McGregor used paulie then pissed him off!

 

He's a *****. I'm kind of glad McGregor is making fun of him. He talks too much.

PPV may be a blockbuster, ticket sales may be hurt.

 

Mayweather will do whatever he wants with Conner .This is such a trash fight i cant believe people think Mayweather has even a remote chance of losing.
