Don't kid yourself. Fluid runs NSAC and USADA. If he wants 8oz gloves they will fight in 8oz gloves. Most likely this is just a ploy to try and keep the fight in the news.

Fluid runs the show so much he won't even let fighters fight in NSAC approved gloves most of the time. Manny? No horse hair gloves. Conor? No horse hair gloves and NO REYES gloves. Maidana had to switch gloves right before one of their fights too because floyd said he wouldn't fight him with them even though they were NSAC approved.

Vegas is floyds world and he makes his own rules.
