    Roach is talking trash and have a dig at mayweather again. There is no trainer in the world can prepare McGregor for mayweather.

    Imagine they fought and it went to the scorecards! I like McGregor but Im more of a boxing fan and for an MMA guy to come in and go round for round with one of boxings current best would be a small victory for MMA even if Conor gets beaten. The boxing world will only want either a KO or TKO cos lets face it, this will be seen as boxing vs MMA and boxing has to come out on top of the top, if you get my gist.

    With all respect to one of boxings best teachers but for him to think McGregors got a chance against Floyd makes me wonder about Freddies condition. Surely Pacman would have doubts.

    Yes, that's why I translated. Roach knows that McGregor has no chance, he's just saying that to:
    - put his hand up for McGregor's trainer, and if he does train McGregor, to build up the fight;
    - have a little dig at Floyd;

    I watched an interview with Roach about 3 months ago where Roach says he has no chance at all....even if he trained him for 2 years he didnt think he had a chance.

    There aren't many fights between huge stars at a similar weight I don't want to ever get made but this is one of them. Would be terrible for both boxing and MMA. MMA fans would get disillusioned at the drubbing their biggest star would get. All of the casuals tuning in for it would also likely be put off boxing even further watching Mayweather put on a "boring" clinic on his way to winning every single round. Horrible fight and Roach is really just showing his greed and childishness here.

    Well supposedly Roach would be the one training McGregor so if the fight does materialize than Freddie stands to make a good purse for it. He's obviously not going to say that Conor has no chance in the fight since he might be his next potential fighter.

    Roach speaks English. Why does this need translation?

    Symbolically some people will just see it that way. You might not, but say for instance Conor causes an upset and beats Floyd, would we see MMA come up in the newspapers? would we see MMA claim a small victory? Of course we'd see headlines along those lines, surely, and its examples like these of MMA vs boxing that will just surface.

    McGregor is a tough guy. It could go to the scorecards.

    And then Conor would have to wear a name tag on his chest for the next month, because his face would match that god-awful tattoo on his chest.

    I'm a big MMA fan and I'd love to see Floyd knocked the spark out, but even the most optimistic guy has to admit that McGregor has the most miniscule chance of victory.

    The only way he can win is if Floyd has totally let himself go on his sabbatical and has been training at Burger King with Dustin Nichols. If McGregor gets a chance to land his power shots ... call it 50-50.

    Well as I said, Id be very surprised.

    If it did go to the cards, Id imagine Conor to say he couldve done fifteen rounds! Lol, hes a great personality is Conor.

    There's footage of Conor sparring with Chris van Heerden. If that's genuinely the best Conor can do, he'll do well to see the distance.

    “He seems like a tough guy and all that but being a tough guy doesn’t really help you in boxing… I mean, he looks like an okay boxer, he’s a very good MMA fighter but the thing is this is boxing and he’s kind of a beginner at boxing. It probably would take me almost three years to get him ready for a fight against a guy like Mayweather.”

    This was a quote from Roach last May I will try and find the video interview where he says something similar to this. However he has been quoted many times since saying that Conor got beat up by his sparring guys in the WC gym other quotes saying he punches like a girl ! However also other quotes from him saying that Floyd has asked him to train Conor for the fight and that Floyd has been in the WC to watch Conor spar already? So taking from them quotes anything could be the truth !!

    I respect Roach but embarrassing if he took on to train Conor. He has stated previously he has no chance. Anyway...McGregor has to use the Ali act which may not work as he has 4 fights left in UFC. And if he doesn't fight mayweather - khabib is next in line. I don't see McGregor having a successful run at this point in his career. Boxing or mma
