Eric Clapton wonderful tonight is essentially the straight version of the same beat (16th notes, RLRR, lefts are the ghosts, big left on three)

I'm looking forward to this. Love staying up all night for the boxing. I'm expecting Floyd to stop him in the second half of the fight but think Conor will have his moments early.

After Floyd has finished with Conor, I want to see paramedics, sirens, blood bags, defibrillators, oxygen tanks and a fully strapped gurney to assist with escorting his bound body out of the arena.

After Floyd's done with him, I hope the rest of those glass jawed UFC posers get the message not to mess with the REAL fight game.

Can't wait until McFraud and the UFC go swirling down the toilet tonight. The SWEET SCIENCE triumphs tonight!

I suspect that Floyd wants to spectacularly end this bout. Knowing MCGregor will not see many clean counters coming his way Floyd will bide his time for the perfect counterpunch. McGregor will never see it coming and those are the blows that knock you out. Fast start for McGregor and he wins the first two rounds, Floyd wins the next 2-3 and a stunning counterpunch to the chin ends the bout is rounds 5 or 6.

If McGregor loses by KO does that mean he has a Glass Jaw?

    Think about it.

One fight, one KO loss to someone who hasn't had a KO since 2009.

    Thoughts?

Gotta give it to Floyd though. He can come back, fight someone whose worse than a washed up pro bum fighter, make a boatload of cash and still collect his 50th win!
I will tell you, for boxings sake Floyd better win and it better be impressive. If Floyd were to lose, it would look so bad on boxing and leave it to Floyd to do that, would not surprise me in the least.

That said, I think Conner will quit by the 5th round or be TKO'd. The dude is EASY to hit, i've seen a 5'5 inch UFC bum with no reach land on Conner at will. Floyd is going to light this kid up badly. After Conner will probably complain Floyd ran like a little girl etc. Even if we do see a more aggressive Floyd in there.

All u gotta do is go watch a couple of Conner's fights. The dude sucks man, no real head movement or D, he's quick but not THAT quick, he does throw some decent combo's, but this is like Jordan vs a high school BB player one on one. Conner has never fought a slick, skilled brother like Floyd. Conner is so stiff too, man its gonna look so ridiculous. lol

McGregor has certainly did his part in building - hyping - this fight. I am glad that he is getting paid well. I felt sorry for him at the weigh in. He was all up in his emotions and it was clear as day that Mayweather wasn't remotely bothered. Floyd is just going to do as he pleases. McGregor will look terrible. But at least he is getting paid well. His reputation is going to take a big hit, but he has bounced back before. So after this humiliation I hope he bounces back again. I quite like the guy.

All those MMA clowns have glass jaws - they get knocked out all time. Against a real boxer, the KO is likely to be particularly brutal. I will be amazed if this guy isn't out cold on the canvas within 6-7 rounds.

If it's a one punch KO most definitely. If it's as a result of an accumulation of punches, not necessarily.

Remember he took flush straight hands from a huge Diaz and was buzzed but stayed standing. I think he has a solid chin tbf.

That's it. Say no more. The only thing that remains to be seen is what give out first, McGregor's will or his body.

He's in there with a very fast, mobile defense boxer, who will be able to land at will.

I'm not watching it, but if McGregor is smart, he goes to the body and arms a lot, and hopes for Mayweather's age to catch up to him.

There is very remote possibility that Conor McGregor could win in his upcoming boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather, Jr. For that to happen, Mayweather would have to be caught by a lucky punch or sustain an injury that would not allow him to continue, all of which is extremely unlikely. McGregor has never fought in an amateur or professional boxing bout while Mayweather has probably been the best pound-for-pound boxer during his era. As a result, the upcoming Mayweather-McGregor bout is an outrageous fraud. I am very disappointed that the Nevada State Athletic Commission is allowing the bout to take place within its jurisdiction.

Yes it likely won't go 7, but I'd play it safer and go with under 9.5 rounds, even if the odds are as much as -180. Floyd could bide through the first 4 rounds, maybe it ends in the 7th or 8th and you get screwed. I do think I like the under, whatever distance, much better than Floyd straight. You of course get the most likely result of Floyd by pretty early stoppage. And in this fight I suspect a freak DQ, technical decision, or even miracle McGregor ko is almost as likely as Floyd having to go the distance.
