Actually McGregor is the only undefeated fighter between them, I have Floyd at 0-0-0-49 no contests due to PED use.

 

That's harsh. Floid's real record is 45-3-1. Floid lost to Castillo, Maidana, and Pac. He drew w/ Shotscar De La Huevos.

What a joke. At this point, I just hope that McGregor lose his patience during the fight and spark mayweather with a headkick. That's all he deserve for cherrypicking a UFC fighter.

No matter how much of a farce this is, and it is, he's probably going to make a killing. So who's really winning? I say ignore it and don't line his pockets.

 

Doesn't do anything for his boxing legacy among fans.

But among casuals, it actually will somehow enhance his legacy. They paid money for a PPV fight and watched him win, again. So in 5, 10, 25 years from now that will still be the truth for them. They don't know anything else about boxing but they'll remember this having happened. McGregor and MMA have a big following, so Floyd will be known to them and then some after this.

Bottom line is he's trying to fight McGregor for the same reasons that any boxer fights any other boxer; money.

I'm afraid this fight would sell even to or maybe even outsell the Pac bout.
