Floyd made him gas. He walked the younger, bigger, heavier, harder hitting man down. Floyd had no respect for Conors ability to hurt him and made Conor run and scurry away like a rat - something Conor accused Floyd of being. Floyd had absolutely no respect for the greatest ever fighter to come out of MMA. None at all.

Conor became the runner, the hunted, while Floyd became the power puncher and the hunter. It wasn't just that he won, its the manner in which he did which will forever be etched into the memory of every nut hugging Conosexual who was living their lives vicariously through Conoor.

He simply emasculated Conor and deflated the myth of Conors size and power being superhuman. He made Conor run like a coward and Floyd.. the same little Floyd, with his little head, little arms, little core, brittle hands, water filled body, 40 yrs old and inactive for 2 years eating burger king at 3 am and not bothering to spar for the fight - ended up out muscling the 170 pound Irish gorilla who knocks people's head of the canvas with one punch power inside a cage!

Not only that, Floyd manhandled him in the clinches, Floyd walked him down and made Conor retreat backwards. The the supposed weak old brittle hand *****, as Conor called him, turned Conor into a running ***** and proved that MMA is a nothing two bit sport for weight bullies.

Thats the beauty and magic of this win....Conor got walked down and pummelled by a man who is known for backpeddlng and boxing safe/defensively yet Floyd became the aggressor, Floyd destroyed the bigger, 11 years younger fighter in their prime, stronger, heavier by 20 pounds, without breaking much of a sweat.

I looked the match after from youtube. Maybe if you are wwe fan you get what you wanted. The actual "fight" part was so fake.but i see lot of people believe it was an acrual fight.so maybe some blind people get what they wanted.

If we're including women, Floyd has a similar record to Archie Moore, but a KO percentage like Mailgnaggi.

No complaints on the stoppage. Conor was done, built up the energy for a 10 second assault with no power then dead on his feet the rest of the round.

Man he just moved in straight lines IN THIS FIGHT, he never ever did this before. Nevertheless in this fight he did it, as well as many other mistakes he never makes and in this fight he made, like staying in the middle distance doing nothing. The guy was just trying to make a show, and I just said that I prefer when he fights seriously. Though, I said too that I understand what he did, because he wanted to please the people that payed for the match, and it looks like he kind of feels that he owe us something after pacquiao's.

I just dont like when he goes full rtard in the ring, I prefer the smart, seriours and sharp floyd. Floyd is the most talented guy I've ever seen, not using this talent should be a sin, I dont care if the one in front of him is a useless irish bum, I watch his fights because I want to see that talent in action.

No I dont think it was stopped too early at all. If anything I feel too late and I will say why... McGregor is not a boxer but is an MMA fighter. Yes in MMA they take punches, but not like in boxing. There is alot of grappling and more holding rather than just punches.
In a boxing match McGregor would have been taking far more punches than he is used to and I think potentially shortening his MMA career by taking punches that he wouldnt normally take

Stoppage was perfect. McGregor hadn't thrown a punch for a good minute. It doesn't matter if you're not that buzzed, you have to throw back to show it.

And, while he might have let it go a bit longer if it was an experienced champion, the ref was right to not give McGregor the benefit of any doubt because he was looking at someone who had never lasted more than 25 minutes in a fight, and hadn't shown he knew how to survive and come back.

59-0 if Floyd has to do the math.

Excuse me, but Foreman beat a much younger Moorer via KO at age 45 and Hopkins won and the defended WBA (Super) light heavyweight title successfully at age 49 against much younger fighters and who were professional Boxers and not MMA specialists. In view of that I don't find this such a surprising accomplishment. In fact, I expected a much better performance in view of all the incessant bragging by Floyd's fans that preceded the event.

    BTW
Of course that assumed that bout was legitimate and not just some elaborate scheme whereby both fighters smilingly and winkingly carried each other and then took the show to it's elaborately planned and meticulously rehearsed finale.

Probably could have gone on longer as Fluids power wasn't doing serious damage to Conor. For a guy who was that prone, that's all the damage Fluid did to a stumbling zombie. If Conor knew how to put up his guard and hold he most likely could have turtled up and made it to the end of the round, but then he'd gas out again, so the stoppage was fine.

Like myself, the true boxing fan knew Mayweather would have no problem beating Connor. However, looking at the quality of judging in the past 25 years or more, boxing needs to address how poorly it has gotten. 2 out of the 3 judges gave rounds 2 and 3 to Mayweather. Really? Why? To simply protect the name of boxing against a newcomer? Or is it simply because they do not know how to judge the sport they are being paid to decide? I know it's hypothetical, but if the fight went the distance, Connor didn't even have a chance before entering the ring. Thank god Morretti got it right
