Quit bellyaching UFC fanboy. Your hero got destroyed and the moronic pseudo sport you love is swirling down the toliet, back to the sewer from which it emerged.

If you don't like boxing, btw, why don't you get the **** off this site and go post at Sherdog. This the home of the SWEET SCIENCE, you know the sport that proved its ultimate superiority over that UFC Garbage last night!!

Yes, I would've preferred that and I was expecting Floyd to be able to do that whilst also not getting hit. Floyd shouldn't have needed 3 rounds to figure a 0-0 fighter out who's stylistically disadvantaged. I didn't see a legitimate schooling, I saw Conor get KO'd by his stamina and thus a handicapped schooling.

That's fair enough. To me, even boxing was a guilty pleasure because I really don't like infliction of pain onto others lol. UFC is about finding the 'fighting optimum' from different styles - excellent concept.

Floyd got the victory, he entertained, he did his bit.
You've got a point, I probably am out of here but I still will appreciate the very best of what the sweet science of physical fencing has to offer - by best, I mean, P4P level fights.

Floyd had expected his opponent to come to him. Instead he used his southpaw stance to help befuddle at distance forcing Floyd to attack. Anyone could see the arm punching, chin in the air MMA fighter was no professional BOXER. Don't get me wrong McGregor tried oh so hard in there but he is not a pro boxer, he is an MMA fighter. Never the twain shall meet.

Mcgregor was a scared chicken cause hes a novice in a boxing ring mate. Again floyd went forward because their was no threat whatsoever. If floyd wanted to make up for pacman...by going forward why not against berto? Because even berto,s still a threat. Mcgregor was never a threat. He was an arm puncher in every sense of the word. His punching technique was so bad he,d struggle against mid level guys. That davis would have fu cked mcgregor up as poor as davis was last night. Mayweather would have hurt him bad if he never carried him.

People need to rewatch the fight. Floyds walking forward was laughable. He literally did walk forward. As he just threw shot after shot of punches he was trying to miss with a lot of the time. Floyd has actually walked guys down before. But it certainly wasnt done like that. Guys kidded everyone on. Mcgregor was out on his feet after the third. Couldnt even reply to his cornermen.

I m not knocking mcgregor under ufc rules he actually can punch. Hes obviously a top fighter. But would struggle to seriously compete with a half decent boxer at boxing...let alone mayweather.

Last night pretty much summed mayweather up tbh. He knew it was a con job. So much so he asked roach to train mcgregor. A guy that doesnt take risks in a boxing ring. He didnt even get involved with mcgregor at the weigh in...didnt need to there was no threat therefore no need for mind games.

I guarantee if pacman was in the other corner last night...floyds accuracy would be back on point. Even outside his accuracy...floyd made laughable mistakes last night.

    1) No accounting for taste. It's the opposite for me, so how can I argue?
    2) To find the Floyd that represents and would be on par with the current boxing elite in the ring, you have to go back a fair number of years imo.

The other thing is that these are two distinct sports. Taking any mma fighter and putting him or her against the very best highest level boxer under boxing rules will never be wise. Alternatively a great boxer trying to fight the best mma under mma rules would not turn out well for the boxer.

lol by boxing in a boxing match?
you kids really are something else..
if mayweather stepped in a cage boxing vs mma it would easily show you clowns which is superior.

Why do you think people want to do that bull****? Not everybody wants to learn wrestling. It's a good way to get your joints ****ed up quick. If you're good with your hands, who cares about that bull****.

Mayweather dominated McGregor in the clinch too. Your hero is a fraud. Just let it go.

Last night was just mayweather taking advantage of gullible people. Mcgregor was such a novice floyd won the fight in the first two rounds...without throwing anything. From there floyd went on to carry him till the inevitable end.

It was a sparring session. Was meaning to miss the guy half the time. At one point mcgregor turned mayweather round...started hitting him from behind to the body...then hit him on the back of then head a few times from behind him. At that point. Mayweather hits him with two body shots in retaliation. Both as accurate punches as you,ll see. Funny that considering up to that point he,d spent half the night missing him.

Under boxing rules a 40 year old boxer not known for his punch came out of retirement to ko one of the top prime mma fighters. Had McGregor fought a prime 154 pound ko puncher last night the bout would not have gone three rounds. McGregor IS NOT a boxer. He is a street fighter in reality and a very good one. However not having boxing experience the result was what you saw.....arm punches galore and ending each effort with his chin in the air.

Not by mma standards he didn't mcgrgeor got back clinch on floyd multiple times, in a mma fights thats the strongest position for a clinch from there there's many trips and chokes.
Mayweather dominated the boxing clinch because well....mayweathers a boxer, i fail to see how mcgrgeors a fraud by going 10 rounds with floyd...is rickky hatton a fraud?
    Victor ortiz? Ect ect.
Conors not a boxer bud, in his sport he would end floyd in the first, nate diaz finished conor quicker than mayweather let that sink in

Being good with your hands is useless if you get put on your ass.
Furthermore it shows boxers insecuritys your boy wouldn't even win in a kickboxing match let alone mma.,

Mayweather was always gonna win a boxing match i don't know how the result makes him a fraud, you're not even logical

Lots of them got that.. Julio Cesar Chavez in his 45th fight fought a guy making his pro debut.. So.. He doesn't need that added at all to his resume
