I know your facts. You assume its the many when its often the few you Overly focus upon. However, you don't get that and can't see it. When you use the words, "you guys" you are speaking to "all guys" instead of the specific dudes you really mean to be calling out. That creates more confuse soon from other dudes that assume you are talking to them simply because you are being such a general mofo.

Smarten up and don't back talk me again with your claim of FACTs while ignorantly in denial of where I am coming from.

When you say "everybody" in a thread it means everybody, not just the dudes you are calling out.

 

Hard to tell how he'll perform on the night from sparring. If he's already sparring, and if it's not going to happen until September, that means he's still got nearly 6 months left to prepare himself and to refine his skills. He's not a pure boxer or anything, he's got to learn how to cover-up and stuff like that, but I don't see why he can't implement a strong brawling style that could give Floyd problems.

 

Stop assuming everyone's hatred of Floyd is as strong as you obsess it is.

It is a silly fight in many boxing fans eyes, that doesn't always mean it is only because its Floyd fighting. If it was GGG vs Conor I would say the same. Stop with the closed mind MVC assumptions that you blindly blame on others dude.

 

I don't hate Mayweather, check my post history if you don't believe me. I just love boxing, and I think this fight will damage both boxing and MMA. Conor does not deserve to be in the ring with Floyd, that's the long and the short of it.

I can't see how this fight does not damage both sports:
- boxing casuals will see an uncompetitive, and therefore boring, fight as Floyd is not a big KO artist. He'll make Conor look stupid before proceeding to try to KO him. Boxing does not need another PPV fiasco.
- MMA fans will see that their best fighter is completely outclassed in the boxing ring.

 

I like your optimism, I just can't see Conor improving enough in 6 months to be competitive with Floyd.

 

Typical DKSAB post. Conor supposedly knows how to punch, has power and good chin based on what? He's 0-0 in pro boxing. I guess you're too ******ed to notice any difference between MMA fights and boxing. It just shows you how easily people can be deluded.

 

Forget Inoki more like Alzado. This is nothing but a money grabbing sideshow and people are going to buy the ppv in record numbers unfortunately. This will likely break Pac/Floyd ppv record.

 

I think you have the wrong person in mind, I may have mildly criticized Floyd here and there, but nothing remotely close to hate. Ask someone like @Pimp C who is a Floyd fan, he can tell you that I'm not a hater.

Agreed.

I didn't like any of those fights either, also because I want boxers to stay in boxing as I'm not much of a MMA fan.

But:
1. One important difference is that boxing stars have a far better chance in the Octagon than MMA guys in the ring. The boxing talent pool is far larger, guys like Floyd or Pac are far more talented than the MMA guys.
2. None of those crossover fights were as high profile as Floyd-McGregor.
