If you believe Mayweather couldn't make 144 had he really wanted to then good luck to you. All evidence points to the contrary. He openly showed disdain for catchweights, 600k isn't a lot of money to him, he supposedly walks around at around 147-150 (he had a fight night weight of 150 against Nelo) but couldn't shed a few more pounds with a full camp? GTFOH.

Canelo begging for the Mayweather fight and conceding to a catchweight doesn't affect what I said at all. I said Floyd enforced a catchweight - something he has stated multiple times that he thinks is BS - on an opponent. Given the choice Canelo would have rather weighed 154 but Mayweather never agreed to that son catchweight there was.

And as you no doubt read I never said it would of made a difference - the entire post was how Floyd obtained POINTLESS advantages.

 

If you don't want to admit I had a fair point that's fine. I will leave it if you want to leave it.

As far as the tough talk I was just being silly dude. I was talking smack to see if you would deny my point and talk smack back defensively aggressively instead and you did. My bad.

The FACT is Conor has never boxed as a PRO before.

The FACT is Floyd is one of the very best PRO-boxer.

This match up is not a fair match up IMO. A fair number of posters dislike this bout not because they hate Floyd as much as you claim BUT because its not a fair match up because Floyd is too good for Conor.

Don't go around assuming that MOST simply hate Floyd because of how obsessed with defending Floyd you are.

I claimed it was a totally unfair and thus bad match up because Randy would kill James. I promise. From the get go. I was passionate about it.

James was out to lunch to fight under MMA rules with most top fighters not just Randy.

Now if your coming from a pure place of just wanting to see what happens even if Floyd beats the ass off Conor in a unfair fight then fine. I can relate to it from that angle. Just don't pretend its something else.

Put it this way, I think Floyd is WAY too good to be fighting a dude that has not had even 1 pro boxing bout yet.

Vitor Belfort 20 years or so ago had the fastest hands in MMA and thought he would try his luck therefore at boxing. Before he cracked the top 100 pros he had been creamed so bad he went back to MMA.

From your last post I felt really good about how we understood each other. You said that me and others could have taken it differently than you meant it and that my friend is you being honourable to me.
