IMO this "Fight / Staged show" shouldn't add up to Floyd's win even if he comes up victorious. Why? because it isn't boxing, it's a Theater show / Staged circus show.

You wanna clean up boxing Floyd ? Stay retired and stop making fun of the Sport of Boxing !

 

if true, this WWE type event will trow a spanner into the works for the Golovkin vs Alvarez fight.

US audience is far more likely to tune in to that Floyd farce as the actual biggest fight in boxing.

 

Who cares? Other than gullible idiots who'l pay for this circus..

In all seriousness, i'm pretty sure this is all just a case of both of them creating a hell of a lot publicity, making a hell of a lot of money from the interviews and press it's creating and keeps them both relevant while Floyds retired and Conors having to take a break because of his child being on the way...

There probably texting each other every night to make the script! This fight won't happen...

 

Floyd is only dong what any other sane human being would do - Get very well paid for what should be an easy night's work.

If Howard Cosell was around these days he would call this a despicable display of sports-whoremans ship. If Connor Mac was for real would have fought anybody within the last three years he been chasing mayweather at least he could get a competitive pass.

Watching a deluded dude who has trained for 1 year in boxing thinking he can even handle OAP Floyd...Floyd Sr would kick McGregors ass.

I'd pay just to see his face drop in round 1 when he realizes that yes it really is just a payday and that he is going to be made a fool of.

It's like when ali fought that japanese wrestler and got his legs ripped apart by a guy crawling around a boxing ring on his back. It was an absolute joke.

 

This bumps GGG-Canelo off that weekend and is something Mayweather would do as he hates Oscar. GGG-Canelo if it is to happen would get pushed back to October or November which in turn gets rid of Oscar's excuse for the fight not happening since GGG is fighting in June LOL. Can't wait to see Golden Boy's new excuse to duck the fight.
