    Oh it will count.

My point is the fans have the right to DENY it and hold it against his legacy as it stands at 50 and 0 and that is each of our rights as human beings.

I sure will. Not in a hateful way, just in a real way.

This fight does nothing to enhance Floyd's legacy.. NOTHING. It's a cheap way to get to 50-0 imo, and it sucks. Especially being a Floyd fan I'm disappointed to say the least.

Yeah it's **** and probably shouldn't be commissioned but $$$ talks. Side note - have they actually signed to fight yet? Still thinking it may be publicity stunt to keep both names relevant.

Because the guy he's fighting wont be a professional boxer, even though he BOUGHT A BOXING LICENSE.

If this fight counts as more than an exhibition, its a disgrace to the sport of boxing.

Connor gets schooled by boxers with single digit records. This guy cant beat journeymen in the ring.
He didnt move to MMA for nothing

I hold the best up to high standards. If any other elite pro boxer was fighting a guy like Conor I would be saying the same thing.

Whatever, its about the money and the casual fan at this point. Let them eat their cake I guess.

It's a joke fight, but it's a boxing fight. To real boxing fans it will be a win with a big asterisk.

    No.

At best this fight is an exhibition.

At worst it's a cynical, money grubbing con trick.

I think most have summed it up on here, it WILL count officially I dont think many (other than fanboys) will credit him with it however as it should be a formality for Floyd.

However that being said everyone of us will no doubt tune in to to watch it. Both guys are dicks but thats the appeal. Either way Connor gets his mouth shut or Floyd suffers a humiliating defeat (as doubtful as it may be)

To the clown trying to compare Marciano and in regards to the comparison of the Berto fight yes you Sephiroth, I think you need to do a little bit of research into Marciano's career. Im not denying that he had a fantastic career but to write off Berto as a "sham" fight and still credit some of Rockys fights towards the end of his career at the same time is not plausible. But then again we all know your agenda.

Conor is UNDEFEATED as a boxer!

    Can Floyd take his '0'?

Ssssshhhh! If you say his name three times in a Floyd thread he will appear and follow you home. Invisible, he remorselessly stalks his prey at walking pace, rattling off stats and touting the benefits of 'defense in boxing' until his target either hangs himself or becomes one of the Floyd pod people. Don't do it, man!

What everyone is forgetting, is that Conor McGregor is gonna have a good seven months or so to train intensively for boxing, is liable to be somewhat competitive, McGregor is in his physical prime.

I know it's a fake fight, but the 24/7's going to be fun.

Awesome! So you're making a case that a fit, athletic guy can be competitive with Floyd Mayweather with 7 months of intensive training?

    Wow, boxing is EASY :D

I may take it up on Wednesday, train a couple of months and cash in on a few minor belts myself!
