When it says in the art of war, not to underestimate your enemies. Surely mine is the best attitude to take. Let's look at it, has amateur boxing heritage, his primary attacking weapon is his left hand punch. Basically a fast counter left, actually copying Mayweathers style. He is in his physical peak, if he is zinging full of youth and vitality and Mayweather is having a bad day at the office feeling rather jaded and uncoordinated, is not beyond the realm of possibility that he loses.

The attitude is most likely to lead to Mayweather losing, be Mayweather dismissing McGregor as a joke.

Anyway about this fight I've heard some odd news, Jimi what's his face has said that he would be interested in fighting David Haye in the O2 Arena. Hold up and wait a minute, David Haye said the UFC were contacting him about fighting Jimi on the undercard of the McGregor Mayweather, if this is so, why is Jimi talking about a separate fight, why isn't he confirming what David Haye said. More smoke and mirrors, what is really going on.

I wouldn't class it an upset if McGregor wins at all tbh.

I'd be minorly shocked at seeing Floyd actually defeated but seeing McGregor beat him wouldn't be that outlandish.

One is in his prime, one is retired. If McGregor lands he will win. I'm still as intrigued about this fight as I've always been.

That's about the only thing we agree on.

Look, I saw the video of Conor sparring with van Heeren and he looked awful. This should be like snatching candy off a five year old. Maybe easier, since kids protect their candy ferociously! ;)

McGregor is young, hits hard, is very fit and has a great chin. If he comes in beast mode and old man Mayweather trains on hookers and the crack off their asses, then I give Conor a chance through sheer physicality.

But if PBF takes this halfway seriously, McGregor is getting sent home in traction.

I agree with you but I'm still being cautious, it was actually quite a long time ago that McGregor sparred with Van, he is of an age where he can still make big improvements.

McGregor's opponents have been very stupid, he makes a threat and his opponents respond by acting arrogant and puffed up and of course they lose because they have a terrible attitude. The positive is Mayweather does not seem to be falling into that trap he's actually bigging up McGregor's abilities which is the right attitude.

Logically i would say that connor doesn't have a chance. However we should think about this: Floyd has only fought one left handed fighter in his life, I donot think that floyd has only fought one person that big ()Oscar way past his prime and coming out of retirement) Floyd is a defensive fighter and loves to clinch and hold (made a difference against a much smaller Pacquio) With conner you get a younger, stronger bigger and taller opponent just learning how to box. If floyd keeps the habit of fighting with his back to the ropes against a lefty not good. Conner does not have to win he gets paid and is doing it for the fight, loves to fight

I heard that there is a confirmed verified information that Woodley is starting his training camp. Supposedly he will be fighting Conor McGregor at one of the next UFC events.

The fight with Mayweather won't happen anytime soon.

Woodley vs McGregor rumors make sense since the #1 contender in Woodley's division Demian Maia was booked against Masvidal instead of getting the well deserved title shot. They're making room for McGregor.

Doubt it. Woodley would absolutely destroy McGregor.

He's trying to cash out with PBF for 80 large, i doubt Woodley is even on his radar. he'll most probably get destroyed worse in MMA against Woodley than boxing against pbf and get about a 1/20 of the purse

It will be announced on Monday Night Raw tomorrow night. Just to make the whole thing even weirder.

Tony Bellew might end up being the one to announce it.

I think Floyd just expected Conor to just roll over at the bargaining table and take whatever he offered and I guess that didn't happen. Lets just hope this farce fades into bolivian:lupie:
