You also have to realize Bradley beat a lot more people at 140 than Casamayor and was the kingpen of the 140 pound divison. Plus two words: Bob Arum. Easy to make fights when it's all in house fighting.
Bradley was a pretty legimiate opponent for Pac imo. Mayweather doesn't have that many options either really and if he's not fighting Martinez or Canelo at a higher weight I'll settle for a Guerrero. At least the man is showing no fear and showing up to fight.

    ummmmm okkkkkkk
    :patsch

  5. Guerrero is a soutpaw and is capable of using it to his advantage (unlike Ortiz who pretty much squares up to throw his shots) and he can throw shots from unorthodox angles. He is a rugged fighter with a decent chin and is hungry as hell for this fight.

Mayweather is what 36 years old? He has been declining since a few fights back now, he's also not superman. I favour Floyd to win but Guerrero does have a chance.

yeah he is at the age where he beat up all those old guys ....still 2 years younger than Mosely was, JMM was 36,37 when he fought him, DLH was old. But you give floyd full credit for beating those old guys dont you? hypocrite

prime cotto wouldnt be a mismatch, not the shot version he fought
margarito wouldnt have been a mismatch, floyd avoided him to fight 9 loss baldomir and loser to baldomir judah
paul williams wouldnt have been a mismatch when they were at 147 together
a 30 year old version of shane wouldnt have been a mistmatch as the 38 year old was
pac man wouldnt have been a mismatch, but floyd ran scared from him
    sergio at 154, no mismatch
    canelo at 154 no mismatch

hes a cherry picker, thats why he has an "O".

  9. Excuse me?

Every fighter is different, I'm saying Floyd Mayweather at the age of 36 has declined and is no longer unbeatable as he was at the time of the Chico, Castillo, DLH etc fights, therefor Guerrero has a chance.

36 year old coming off of a year long layoff - with a little stretch of time in between - against a younger world champ that's in the hottest streak of his impressive career.

For anyone else, that's not a cherry pick.

Is it the most appealing opponent available? Of course not.

In the context of knocking off some rust before making his last run as a fighter he could have (and maybe should have) done a whole lot worse.

No other fighter would catch any kind of flack for taking on an opponent of this quality in any context, never mind in the context under which Floyd is fighting him.

and just to reply to your post.

    1) Wanted to fight Cotto after Gatti but Arum said no, thats what he does.

2)Margarito was a nobody and Baldmoir was lineal champ. Also lots ofg people thought Judah was the most talented fighter Mayweather would've ever fought and Mayweather still took the fight even after he lost the lineal title to Baldmoir = Never scared

3)Paul Williams just didnt get a chance. wasnt that relvant at the time.

    4) Mosley complained about a loose tooth, go youtube it.

5)Pacman didnt take a bloodtest. decided to fight Hatton, Mosley and a cheating Margarito instead :patsch:patsch

6? Martinez at 154, Mis match. has no defense.

7)Canelo at 154, skill wise, mismatch. but Canelo has something that cfould give Mayweather trouble. toughest fight. should happen before he retires
