Pac was OK to fight May 5 in a normal indoor arena against any number of opponents.
But cannot fight May 5 against Mayweather because it requires an outdoor stadium seating 45000 people....
Basic admission of WHO is putting the the vast majority of butts in seats there.

the current record holder for biggest grossing fight was ODLH V MAYWEATHER

that fight was done in the MGM Grand if im not mistaken..

its all about PPV BUYS not so much seats in the stadium...

It's hard being a pacturd these days, isn't it?

Mayweather "missing an opportunity"? No, all of boxing and regular fans will know that Manny Duckiao ducked out of the biggest fight of the century.

r u guys ******ed? I'm not a Pac fan.. I'm saying Pacs camp is basically admitting that it's Mayweather that creates a need for so many more seats, not their own guy... because against any other opponent a normal venue is adequate... then if it's Mayweather who brings all the extra need for more seats, who should Pac represent 50% of the revenue.... sorry you can't understand such a simple post as to be confused by it's meaning.

I think the need for extra seats is due to the fact that this event will be huge. Its a combination of both guys that makes it big. We have two of the best fighters in the past 20 years wanting to go at it. Legit pound for pound kings. Its the event, its not that pacquiao needs mayweather or mayweather needs pacquiao, they need each other. Together, they make the boxing event of the decade.

i think the last sentence is the one causing confusion

By saying "who" you are leaving it open to interpretation

Because the highest grossing fight of all time in terms of ticket sales was at the MGM Grand in Vegas.

It's not about the number of people who want to see the fight, it's about how much ticket sales can generate. Bob wanted to build a stadium to maximise revenue, not so more fans could see the fight

it does'nt need a new stadium building for the fight at all, its just yet again, another bull**** excuse thrown up to stop this fight happening.
    its sad and pathetic.

If he wanted to build a stadium you figured Arum would want to get the ball rolling on the negotiations as soon as possible. I wonder what he's waiting for? A simple phone call to Haymon to say "let's meet," sounds simple to me.:think

Mayweathers sentence got pushed back because he already had a contractual obligation to fight in the MGM on May 5th, it doesnt matter where they fight. they could fight in a gym and the PPV would sell world wide

    Stop licking Arums ass
