Yea he did.....he needs to start looking in the mirror if he is upset because he supported Ward and let him train at his gym and Ward hasnt done the same for him then he shouldnt have done it, no one forced him to cosign Ward.

I cantreally say because I dont posses all the facts but it seems silly to me.....

 

I'm a christian, go to church every sunday, read my bible most every day, and a lot of Floyd says the truth. We are all children of God. However, as for Ward's ring name, and the concept of... "If your a pastor be a pastor, if your a boxer be a boxer" is nowhere in the bible. I don't care if your a stay at home mom, your job in God's eyes is to take care of your husband, to instruct and bring up Godly children, etc.
If you box and are famous your suppose to be a mouth peice for God. The bible says things like Glorify God in all things. I've heard FLoyd say his skills, etc are a GIFT FROM GOD. If he thinks that way, and he glorifies God by saying that, is Andre Ward doing that much different?
The bible says when you accept Christ you are dead to sin, dead to your old ways, that you have been crucified with Christ. Meaning you no longer belong to yourself. You confess God is your ruler, your lord, your master, and your life. I'd say 95% of christianity thinks like he does, and are *part time* christians, but if they beleiving what they saying, it's a full time, 24/7 job.

 

I feel what he's saying about religion, the concept of a willful universe/God is not a concept that can necessarily apply to a sport in which any given man may fight any other given man and try to hurt him, but at the same time I can understand having faith that destiny is on your side personally.

The **** he said about Ward is pure insecurity though. The interviewer mentions Ward is rooting for Guerrero, and Floyd responds by talking about their ticket sales and how Floyd is a celebrity while Ward isn't despite his Gold Medal and implies he's boring. Unnecessary and spitefully insecure.

Why tell someone their moniker suits them and give them a pep talk by using it to encourage aspirations of greatness, then turn around and say "they're killin me with that name, SOG"?

Its not like MW said anything new ..Ward needs to leave his comfort zone ..And that whole SOG thing is WARD's business I mean Floyd needs to stop with that ..Money is the root of all evil and that's his moniker yet you don't hear Ward or anyone knocking that ..Outside of that MW did make valid points ..

Ward is just starting to get popular. And Floyd hates that because Ward is the next ****, Floyd is that old ****. Ward fights whoever, whenever. Floyd hides behind his contract going for bums ala Roy Jones. My buddies who dont follow boxing were asking about Ward after he demolished Bad Chad. Featured on Sports Illustrated and he is getting on TV all the time. And unlike Floyd, he is not socially awkward or socially ******ed. He could be bigger than Floyd.
