I had them both dead even going in to the last round, with Floyd just about stealing the 12th. Could have gone either way. Congratulations to both men, especially Shane who through his incredible work rate, pushed Floyd to edge with his relentless pressure and really brought out the best in him.

Here's what I find funny...

so many people are saying that round 1 could have went either way... I agree,

but what about rounds 3, 6, and 7? Were they any more decisive than round 1?

What about rounds 4, 5, 8, 9, and 12? Were they any more decisive than round 1?

I think many of the rounds were even to be honest with you. I'm not saying Shane won more than two rounds... but did he really "lose" 10 or even 11 rounds? Could some of those rounds be even?

Mayweather clearly won rounds 10 and 11 and Mosley clearly won round 2. The rest of the rounds were close IMO.

Could you imagine a fight being scored something like this-

Round 02 10-09
Round 03 10-09
Round 04 10-10
Round 05 10-10
Round 06 10-09
Round 07 10-09
Round 08 10-10
Round 09 10-10

Round 11 09-10
Round 12 10-10

That would be crazy, but what if that's the way a judge saw a fight? 118-115 have you ever heard of such a score? Or, how about 119-118? I wanna see more scores like this to be honest with you. If there is no decisive winner for a round, the round should be scored 10-10 IMO.
