This is from a columnist in another site. Thoughts? "I had heard a rumor that the drug testing in the Mosley/Mayweather fight might be a dog and pony show; that the testing, while agreed to, was not actually going to happen. Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaeffer assured me it was not a sham and that in fact, the testing would begin at the start of training camp which an unnamed source told me meant the moment after the last presser. That’s as of yet unconfirmed. " Has there been news on which agency is going to administer the random test? It would be interesting to see how this goes.
yeah, this would probabaly be for a show. mayweather would probably put on this charade for the rest of his boxing career so that he can have an excuse not to fight pacquiao. everyone would be doing what their respective commissions requires while floyd would look stupid trying to implement his own MSAC drug test that is just scripted.
At least they are testing.. unlike pacaroid, taking physicals and passing them off to third world media as drug tests. They have not started training camps so you basically have to STFU and report to the Pac Exposed thread until further notice. Trannys.
butt hurt eh? you now realize the farce that floyd is trying to pull? "i am changing the sports of boxing". " i am the greatest of all time coz i have my 0". LOL :rofl
Sorry to say this but I think for the most part Pac got the worse of the bargain with the fight cancelling. His status is now questionable, while Floyd on the other hand came out looking like a million bucks accepting Pacs weight limit and negotiating down to 14 days of random blood testing. Plus hes fighting Mosley...
a question then: what would you say if it came out that mayweather/mosley will have no drug testing? would you be disappointed?
he only looked good because he is fighting mosley. but if you will look at the bigger picture, how long will floyd had to implement his own style of drug testing just because he recently brought it up? do you think the commissions would follow suit with this floyd charade?
its the same kind of bull**** you will always get remember when mayweather was sighned to fight matthew hatton
when does training camp start? i just followed from the quote that "the testing would begin at the start of training camp which an unnamed source told me meant the moment after the last presser". I think the last presser was March 4 in L.A.
The thing you gotta understand is Floyd likes to play games. Wether it was a stunt or not, Pac didnt handle the situation like he should have.
Thats like saying "Pacs status is only questioned by boxing fans" That **** was on ESPN and spanish news, I could only imagine the philipines.
who cares how pac handles situation like this. it's clear from the get go that pac and his team has some PR problems while floyd and ellerbe has been aware of the news and even those circulating in the boxing forums. at the end, we as fans will see through this floyd's charade. this is even getting uglier by the minute because floyd's handlers are being rude to a certain group of media just because of their ethnicity.
The funny thing is even though Pac's team ducked the tests, Freddie Roach said implementing olympic style drug testing for everyone would be good for boxing. You couldn't make that **** up.
