to dispel any rumours that this might be a "dog and pony show", all they need to do is provide the name of the agency who will be conducting the test. i am sure they have already planned this or at least identified the agency by now.

there is a never a question that olympic style drug testing or any form of improved testing method than currently in place would be good for boxing. that's what makes the mayweather/mosley testing interesting as it could become the model for future testing in major fights. it would be a major disappointment then if it does not happen.

I really believe GBP should publicize, or atleast make this particular random drug testing policy (who shall administer, etc) known to the boxing world just to highlight its very significance.:deal

the problem here is accountability. if it would really take place, what will happen if someone tested positive? would it be made public, would the fight be stopped if someone is get caught? if this was done through commissions, they would be the one to implement sanctions. as of now, these drug test are just charades and has no real tooth. does the USADA have the power to punish them? floyd and GBP controls the whole testing situation.

    :rofl

Don't really need to read further in this thread. More of the same ole same ole. As least there's still a few good laughs to be had. Nothing more to gain from any Pac/Floyd topic at the moment.

    :good

It became so after the first response, whether you intended it to have anything to do with Pac when you made the original post.

    Sources?

And again you *******s don't understand what Olympic style testing is. It does not mean constant random blood tests. It means URINE tests with the POSSIBILITY of blood testing! Go look at the Olympic web site on how many "tests" versus "blood tests" are done. It is a crazy LOW percentage.

Bob "Dr. Evil" Arum has you clowns fooled as always. You gullible ducks.

Now Pac/Clottey is having NO DRUG TESTS because the TSAC feels that there is "no need".

No you can't make this stuff up! :yep

*Sigh* Always doubting Floyd and putting him under a microscope. Before he signed the contract to fight Shane people were checking their watch every other second to see if he had signed. Some even went as far as assuming Floyd would not do it. Jeez.

People are still holding on to the speculation that Floyd is scared of Pac? Why would he be? He has the perfect style to defeat Pac. You don't think he knows this? Contrary to popular belief he has never even come close to being beaten by a southpaw (loss in the Olympics was BS).

JMM and MMA's P4P king Fedor Emelianenko are now requesting random drug tests or at least according to credible articles I've read. Are they cowards? Why aren't they getting criticized? Oh because everything Floyd does means he's both wrong and a ducker.

Yea Floyds using the testing as a reason not to fight Pac.

Cause Floyd knew Pac would suddenly have problem with the blood testing up until the day of the fight after he agreed to the weight penalty.

The contracts establish the penalties for failing a test, the same as they establish the agreements for additional testing. NSAC doesn't need to be involved in any way, though I'm sure they'd be interested in a failed drug test by any athlete.
