Bull****, Cotto didn't fight an all out fight against Mosley like he did against Judah, Cotto boxed by using the jab consistently and making sure that he landed his punches first. And Cotto's power did get Mosley respect cause Mosley was the first one to start moving backwards in rounds 6 and 7.

There was nothing slick about Wink or Forrest when they fought SSM, both came forward and both were bigger and stronger than Mosley. Collazo tried that slick stuff and got his ass handed to him. Mosley has problems with skilled fighters who he can NOT overpower.

Shane has problems with defensive fast counter punchers......he fights in flurries and wins rounds mostly on his damage...survive his sloppy flurries with defense or counter punches or both and u win...mosley pac is a better matchup for mosley....he likes fighters that come foward and engage and exchange with him

He gets props but he still lost...he will get props for fighting mayweather and will still lose for the same reasons he's always lost to good boxers

The fighters who beat Mosley did NOT beat him in that manner. Neither Wink or Forrest were as fast and neither man fought defensively either, they both came forward, walked him down and overpowered him while boxing him, Wink was just way too big and Forrest had hurt Mosley so he didn't wanna engage anymore. Collozo was the fast, counter-punching type of fighter you mentioned that would give Mosley problems but he got beat down easily. I do think PBF will do enough to win as this fight has happened about 5 yrs too late for Mosley.

In combining those attributes I was thinking of cotto.....winky is a defensive master mosley couldn't hit and beat mosley with a jab...and forrest was fast enough to counter mosleys flurries and strong enough to hurt him

Bottom line like dude said above if mosley can't over power you or hurt u.....u should win

and I don't think that the guys who beat him created an opportunity to stop him because for the most part, Winky had a nice lead but couldn't knock him out because he has no power.

With Forrest the fight was close ... and there was no opportunity for a stoppage ...

Size matters. Winky and forest are big.

This is how I see it as well. Too big, good defense with a solid jab.

Agreed. Not only they outboxed him, but they did not allow him to force his game into them.

I wanted to see that fight too, though it 's not necessarily a good fight, because they're both counter-punching boxers. Two slick, defensive fighters not known for power who like to be the second to punch. That runs the risk of a boring chess match with hardly any punches being thrown. They did talk trash to each other before, face-to-face, and made noise about a possible showdown, but of course, nothing came of it, as is customary with Floyd mouthing off to or about a bigger fighter.

So basically what you're saying is that Floyd has never fought a good boxer.

    Right?
