Mayweather Mosley Much closer than the cards suggest

    I had the fight 116-115 Mayweather, with mosley getting an 10-7 round for round two as he dropped Mayweather with a knockdown the ref missed and he dominated the round. I'm not sure what everyone else was watching but the people in the theater were going nuts for mosley's performance even through he is so old and shot and was not a relevant opponent any more since Floyd dodged him for 20 years like he has dodged everyone else. If mosley was left handed or was wearing Reyes gloves are was younger, or had more unorthodox movements or he hadn't thrown the fight, he would clearly have won. He probably would have won anyway if he wasn't drugged or weak from the illegal drug testing. What do you all think am I right?

    I think we were watching different fights.

    The people in the theater were excited because Shane rocked Floyd, that's true. And I think that excitement carried off for the next few rounds cuz they thought, "any second now, Shane is gonna KO dat ass!"

    It was a good fight, and it was nice to see Floyd take a more offensive approach but u're nuts if u think it was that close.


    And contrary to popular belief, Floyd does have a lot more fans than boxing message boards would have you believe. I'd say the majority of the theater I went to was rooting for Floyd.

    i picked Mosley....dont much like floyds big mouth..... but sugar shane lost 10 out of 12 rounds....

    Wow.

    I had it 117-111 to Floyd giving Shane 1, 2 and a generous round 5 as I think Floyd kinda rested a bit that round, but I wouldn't argue with you if you had it different. My score was on round different from the closest judge.

    I thought that was closer than it deserved to be...

    116-115...wow. Just wow.

    116-115?? :lol: Was it a 15 round fight you were watching?

    I prayed to all the heavens for Mosley to win but I have to admit, Mosley only won round 2. You may give him round 1 if you badly need to find another round to give to him. But other than that, all other rounds were clearly won by Floyd.
