I'm going on a limb and picking Shane to win this fight (looks like i'm the only one which gives me no confidence. lol) I just think the level of competition in the last 6/7 years comes back to haunt Floyd. Going from Marquez to Mosley is not a good look. People talk about Shane's ring rust, but Floyd's had one fight in 2 years and no disrespect to JMM but that was a glorified sparring session and even then Floyd got cought a few times and went back on his bike.

I think Shane mixes it up, he won't be the agressor all the time especially if he can get the early rounds in the bank then forces Mayweather to change his gameplan of potshoting. We all know Shane ain't getting tired and Floyd IMO doesn't have the output nor power to back him up when Shane needs to press the action. I see Mosley feinting with the left hook then going to the body particular to the right side off the jab, outworking him as Floyd will fight with the safety locker on his pistol and throw single shots cautious of Shane's Power.

Mosley's counter punching abilty in the booth is underrated, if he can blind fold Floyd and set up those body punches with good feints and not load up on the right hand up top then he wins this fight. Even though Mayweather's strength is underestimated and he puts that elbow to the throat to stop you getting on the inside and roughing him up, Shane Mosley is a special specimen built from the same cloth as Evander Holyfield and i see him walking Floyd around at times, bullying him in the booth, willing to walk into 2 shots to get off his 1, a lot of rabbit punching and low blows (which makes the referee crucial IMO).

Nazim will also help him stick to the gameplan, for me Floyd was forced to take this fight when HBO rejected talks of him fighting Paulie, Nate and people of that nature. I truly believe Pacquiao facing a legit welterweight forced his hand especially when HBO chose Manny on that march 13th date. I think Mayweather is hoping Shane is over the hill and he's in for a rude awakening, Shane's adaptabilty (which is underrated) and versitility will be key en route to a decision and then we get the rematch. Can't wait!

I'am with yer on this & also it makes good Vegas sense to shaft Mayweather & have Shane the winner as that way the MGM/HBO get their Megafight with Pacman/Mosley wich will generate zillions $$$$ & Mayweather is frozen out regardless of re-match clause.

As long as Shane does not get old overnight then i see him getting the UD/SD regardless of Mayweathers efforts, HBO/MGM/Vegas commission all want the Mayweather's out of the picture after wrecking the superfight with Pacman & what with the Vegas commission having it's authority & credibility challenged by Mayweather!!!!! So look for the shafting to take place & boxing moves onto the Pac/Shane unification Global Megafight showdown which Vegas/HBO & us all want.

I may put a bet on Mayweather, that should assure Mosley's victory. Probably by KO after imposing a shutout. I'm ok with vcash, but as soon as I use the folding stuff....:-(

Wow. Never knew that. HBO come good for once :good SSM is durable and as he would put it, has a "thick coat". Can't wait for this one. Next best thing to Floyd fighting Pac.

My head says that PBF has every trick and tactic within his armoury to win on a UD, but my heart thinks that SSM is solid, has a punchers chance and is going to give PBF the fight of his life tonight...:yep
