Anyone else think we may see, or are hoping to see a more offensive Mayweather come May 1st? I've heard and read in a number of interviews from Mayweather's camp...how Mosley isn't going to last the 12 rounds, how Mosley isn't going to know what hit him, etc. Obviously they say this for every Mayweather bout to hype it. But do you not think if Mayweather were to do this...open up his offensive arsenal a fair bit more than what we have seen in his previous bouts, it would kinda throw a spanner in the works in terms of Mosley's gameplan? Mosley and Richardson will come prepared for any situation, but I think it would take him a number of vital rounds to make an adjustment.
Mayweather is going to wait for Mosley and pot shot him as usual. What is Mosley going to do about it? We'll see on Saturday. I believe Mosley will surprise everybody. I'm going for a Mosley victory.
If Mayweather wins you better hope it won't be by knockout. Mayweather outselling March 13th by a large number and knocking out shane will make emmanuel not want to fight him at all.
Do you not think this would be the best time for Mayweather to put on a very impressive offensive performance though? The Pacquiao bout is waiting to happen...assuming Mayweather wins.
Not really, because the fight was going to happen after his fight with Marquez. If PBF just fights the way he usually fights and wins, the bout with Pac will happen. If he puts a very impressive offensive performance that will just add to the promotion of a possible Pac fight.
The most offensive I have ever seen Mayweather is against Gatti, and it would behoove him to NOT try to do to Shane what he did to Gatti. Wouldn't be smart.
Floyd said he would knock out DLH and we all know the result from that fight. I don't believe the hype.
Mayweather's been more offensive in past fights, not in quite some time. If Mayweather is show more of his offensive arsenal, then Mosley's going to have to bring it out of him. Like Hatton did in the latter rounds (8th round).
Sorry, I've randomly bumped this thread, completely by accident...atsch This content is protected I'm sick at the minute, bored aswell...going through some of my old threads and seen this. Kind of a hesitant prediction on my part. Also, this (I won't bump it, take a quick look though :good)... http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=209346
Excellent observations. The first thing I did when opening this thread now, was quickly scroll down keeping an eye out for my avatar on the left, making sure I didn't make a stupid comment . Because back then I could have said:
I always do that...I will most likely be caught out at some point saying some stupid ****, and it will almost certainly be on the Mayweather Pacquiao subject...but hasn't happened yet.
