say Floyd Mayweather moved up in weight to face Calzaghe at 168 or a catch weight would it be like Roy Jones moving up to Heavyweight? could Floyd do it? and which would be the bigger achievement?

would it be like Roy facing Lennox Lewis or Tyson at heavyweight?

Floyd is short for 147, let alone going all the way up to 168-175.

Roy Jones Jr at 5'11 wasn't extremely short for a heavyweight, it's quite a big difference. If Floyd went up and beat Calzaghe, it'd be a hell of a performance.

floyd is too short, and wouldnt be able to bring up enuff power to affect calzaghe. floyd already moved up 4 weight classes, but he isnt GOD

I think Floyd was stretching it as a welter, any higher and he'd have to pick his opponents VERY carefully. So no, IMHO, he couldn't do it.

Big difference between stepping up and fighting the P4P#1 (#2 if Floyd returns) and stepping up to fight Ruiz.

Calzaghe would just sit down on his punches and take Mayweather out in a round or two.

Floyd would probably have more chance at beating John Ruiz than Joe Calzaghe.. lol

Is Floyd Mayweather moved up and beat Calzaghe at 168 I'd class Floyd as the greatest of all-time p4p unquestionably. Thats how big an achivement it would be.

It would be bigger than Roy Jones beating Lennox Lewis not Ruiz.
