What the hell will Clottey do for his career? Clottey "lost" to Cotto! If he won't fight an elite WW then he needs to take on Bradley. You Pac fans make zero sense.

He shouldn't take a fight at WW unless it is (in this order) FMJ, SSM, or PW (AFTER he makes weight for one fight). Since Pac was just recently complaining that March 13th was too soon why not wait and out bid to fight a REAL contender, i.e., Berto or Mosley? I wouldn't even care if he faced the loser and let Mayweather fight the winner.

No one is ruling out the future this will not be PACS final match.

Since we cannot get the fight we want, PAC will treat us by giving us a WAR with Clottey. A real WW. In the future yes, he will face Mosley/Berto winner and he has the balls to do so. In the meantime he wants to keep busy this is a good fight to keep busy.

I agree with you. I am a BIG fan of Josh Clottey, but we have to look at this fight in the perspective of the current PED debate.

He is a tough dude, but he is KNOWN not to do enough to win fights in the end. This would fall right into a PED user's hands. He also works for Arum so you know he won't make any demands. He also has ZERO negotiating power. Because Arum is representing them both, he has even LESS than ZERO negotiating power.

If Clottey was outside the Top Rank camp? I would be OK with this. Now? I just look at is as an elaborate cover up because the average fan doesn't even know that Clottey and Pacquio are represented by the same people!
