****ing laughable. Who exactly is the 40 year old men he fought ? Do u mean a 34 year old rested DLH ? Ok anyway lets examine what u said

130 - Retired Gernaro Hernendaz who had been a Champion at 130 for SEVEN straight years never been beaten at that weight class. Ask Carlos Hernendaz,Azumah Nelson,Jimmy Garcia,Jorge Paez if Chicanito was any good. Then theres Diego Corrales a unbeaten KO phenom who actually did have a title but vacated just to fight Floyd so dont start the unifying bull**** because its not his fault. What happened there agianst a man who proved latter in his career to be dam good ? Floyd shut him out and put him on his 5 times before stopping it in 10.

135 - What the **** do u call a guy like Jose Luis Castillo ? I know its close but Floyd beat him TWICE and we all seen Jose was good then and good after. Why did Floyd have to fight Bazan or Johnston when he beat Castillo the man who beat both of them ?

140 - Ill agree but he did offer Ricky Hatton fights twice and even agreed to fight in England he wanted none of it then.

147 - He beat the former Undisputed Champ Zab Judah many who said would beat Floyd then he beat current Linear Champ Carlos Baldomir easily.
154 - Took on probablly the most dangerous 154 pounder out there in Oscar De la Hoya and beat him when he didnt have to move up to 154 there was no demand to fight a guy who hits that hard.

no no, first there are 3-4 belts, wbc, wba, ibf, wbo

while having 3 champs is not good for the sport don't compare them to what a boxing mag thinks, no mag has the right to say who is the champ.

and the i know the history of boxing much better then you do and i also box and the whole lineral thing is way over rated.
ohh to be the man, you have to be the man etc...well if the man is ducking a fight with then that;s hard to do.
that is why we have things called belts which have the right to strip the champ of the title.(yes i know they strip unfairly sometimes)

it's like when foreman was stripped of all this belts in 90's some people were still calling him champ. which was a joke.
you don't fight the top guys, your longer champ period.

i think the time of dempsey not fighting for 3 years and still being the man is over and should be over.
sure with that kind of lineral system boxing is easier to fellow but it is not fair to fighters who actually want to fight the champ, while the champ hides behind his lineral belt.

according to your lineral thing, roy jones was never light heavyweight champ lol
