They were carrying large amounts of excess weight and were far shorter than Klitschko.

Was Baldmor carry rolls of fat around with him?

Corrales was 4 inches taller than Floyd and 10lbs heavier.

Ortiz was slightly taller and 14lbs heavier, and in great shape.

De La Hoya was 2 inches taller and 10+ lbs heavier.

Divisions are defined by weight. Theres a reason for that.

Or would you consider Paul Williams bigger than Mike Tyson because he was taller and WAY longer reach?

Face it, most of Floyds big fights were against noticably bigger guys.

Of course its an issue, but Floyd is so darn good that he will over come it.

Just like he did against Corrales, Castillo, De La Hoya, Baldomir and Ortiz.

If the fights at 154, he'll beat Martinez.

And then all the Pacquiao fans will say Martinez was too old.

Size will not be an issue if they fight. Floyd's skill level makes up for that size disadvantage. We all know that after Floyd beats the brakes off Manny, that Sergio will be the next guy that you fake ass boxing fans will say he is afraid of. :hi:

I (like you) have zero ideas whats in negotiations. Theres money issues etc, etc, etc.

For all any of us knows Martinez is just saying that **** and has no intention of getting down to 150 to fight.

Im sure if theres enough money in the fight and all the kinks can be worked out, Floyd will fight him.

And after he beats him, Pac fans will say hes ducking Cotto/Margarito, Kirkland, Alvarez, Sturm, who knows, maybe even Ward.

According to some people he'll always be "ducking" fighters.

No, his skills will over come 2 inches, and about 15 lbs, which is what Martinez will weigh on fight night.

    Thats if they ever fight.

Floyd could easily retire after Pac,and would have every right to do so. He'd have done everything he needs to do to be ranked up amongth the greats.

Maybe Martinez will price himself out

One of the 2 will get injured.

Maybe Martinez doesnt make the weight
    etc
    etc
    etc
    etc

And yes the young,up and coming golden boy od American boxing, with the amazing life story is a much bigger draw than the Argentinian who cant speak English and has spent most of his life fighting in Argentina and Spain.

Your english is too hard to understand.

As an aside, I can quite confidently say that Floyd will beat Sergio despite the size difference, because Floyd is just so darn good.

Can you say that the reason that Floyd destroyed Marquez had nothing to do with size?

It'd be nice to hear that.

Especially considering the size difference between Marquez and Floyd is much smaller than the size difference between Floyd and Martinez.

Once Floyd dispatches Pac in dominant fashion, I really do hope he fights Martinez. I would be pulling and favoring Martinez to win by stoppage.

    Sure,nothing to do with size.

Floyd is after all a former 154 WBC champ.

Ive never heard Floyd say he has any issues with fighting bigger guys. Hes been doing it for the last decade.
