i presumed thats the way it would be.....but there was another fight a while back, and fook me, i cant remember now which fight, that didnt start till something like 1am-ish for that very reason...u.s. audience........but even if that wouldnt suit, its still a good point you make.
Yeah I remember it was a calzaghe one , lacy I think. It messed it up for everyone because of what went on. We have never had one since. Nowaways I think the police would just so no from the word go even more so if schaeffer got his 80000 people wish
Oscar's pressure wasn't even educated it was wild - but still effective. Certainly, standing just out of range, not moving or throwing a lot is pointless. Floyd will hit you with those sneak leads and get out of range again. As someone said earlier in the thread there is no point being the bigger man and not using those attributes, it's actually a huge disadvantage as he'll kill you with speed. Future oponents: Garcia Pac Marquez Would be happy to see any of those. Pac or Marquez would likely be competitive if they come through their fights without looking shopworn. Garcia I can't see what he really brings to the table especially as he'd be moving up, he has got nice timing on his left hook though and decent all round skills.
Marquez has already ruled himself out. He says its pointless. I think with his new 147 physique he would do better but he knows himself better than us so perhaps it would be no different
i think broner myself....but..i actually hope it doesnt happen because i'm holding out in the faint hope that paulie gets a rematch with him
If Pac does a good job on Rios which i think he will then thats the number 1 ticket seller. Garcia has a strong fan base so tickets would sell but would he move up weight? I think Khan may sell as he's a exciting fighter with a good american fan base but will he get passed Alexander - i dont think he will. These are the biggest paydays and floyd only fights the fights with most sales. 1 - Pacman 2 - Garcia 3 - Khan 4 - Bradley 5 - Thurman
WBC/IBF unification with Khan makes money sense. If he wants to push his brand then a UK fight reaches disgusting levels. Wembley sell out, all the media following it etc
well considering the majority of mayweathers recent victories have come by decision do you really think he would want to come to UK, risk his '0' and leave it to the judges when you consider all the extremly dodgy judging/refereeing in recent years in this country? no chance.
This would be the fight if Bradley beats Marquez. Tim's resume would then be better than Floyd's in my opinion.
