Ok I still have no idea what that has to do with what made Margarito so good at 154 :conf

Do you think Mayweather cares if he's obliged by a belt at this stage of his career?

As a fan of Floyd if his next opponet is not canelo then he is a ducker, I accepted him not fighting PAC because of testing but he has no excuse to not give the fans the fight they really want. No way Guerrero should of even been named as a possible opponent that was such a garbage fight. Now there's talks about khan? Gtfo!!!

Mayweather is a champ @ 154 and so is canelo, division is set up by weight not by height and reach so this whole talk about canelo is to big is garbage

He is most likely going to fight another easy target tailor made for his style with Canelo fighting Cotto and both meet May 2014. That's what I'm expecting but anything is possible.

Just him being a drama queen is so old. I try and be a fan but its hard to when you want to see the best out of him and he acts like a total punk. PAC and may weather fight should of been made and now this.

Its like if the spurs opted out to play the mavericks instead of golden state...

    Well put
Mayweather wins at 154 and would be better for him in all aspects of legacy.
I don't blame him for considering other fights first. As long as he fights Canelo within the year before age or weight becomes more of a struggle.

He was good enough so that a win over him made Cotto un-shot and into one of Floyd's greatest scalps. :rofl

He can't "drag" Canelo down. If he drops, it's his choice. He's the one calling him out. Dawson went to to 168 for Ward...so it has been done.

Seems meaningless when you break it down like this, dragging guys down. Then nobody has done it ever, the phrase doesn't apply to boxing. No need for semantics, most posters understand the meaning it conveys, clearly even you

    please...

the man was 20 lbs heavier than Pac FFS

Pac moved up so many divisions it's a record smasher

He destroyed Margos eye for life also

Then Cotto beat that one eyed version of Margo - and landed the Floyd fight

Just stop with the lame excuses man, stop making excuses for another grown man.

Floyd will probably beat alvarez anyway

My dad is 50 lbs heavier than Manny so I'm sure that'd be a great W for Manny at cruiserweight right?
