Fair point but I respectfully disagree. And I'm not talking hands only, I think a boxer could be beaten in an MMA fight even if it wasn't taken to the ground and leg kicks didn't destroy him altogether. I think their pattern could be effected entirely. I think there are some fighters that have enough power and skill to disrupt a boxers gameplan and knock them out. The boxer may have the natural power but everyone thinks just because they box they have this fearsome 1 punch knockout power with everything they throw. They believed this with Toney, it's ******ed. That being said though, Randy probably would have fell down had he got caught, but I guy like Velasquez or Fedor? Or Overeem? I don't think they'd have a problem taking a few of his shots. I'm not saying they could stick their chin out and not expect to hit the canvas but I don't believe in this laser accuracy 1 punch knockout and that boxers will knock out anyone who stands with them. The rhythm is completely different, and even if they train with different gloves, it's a lot more complicated using them on fight night and trying to muster a defense in a different sport. Fighters with a philly shell or a peek-a-boo would be ****ed up severely if they didn't land and have that so called 1 punch knockout power.

Any well-rounded striker in MMA, such as the top Muay Thai specialists, would destroy a boxer in pure stand-up. A single leg kick would cripple a boxer.

Pity he would get choked to death in the first second.

And viceversa, any decent MMA fighter will be a boxer in an MMA.

If that AM fighter has the balls to fight Anderson in any form or combat I'd say he should lend Floyd one of his nuts so he finally stops with the excuses and fights Manny. Floyd actually has a chance to beat PAC. If only he had confidence in himself and wasn't such a puss about potentially losing.

What it is he going to do, take him to the ground and bend one of his body parts and then we give it a cool name:lol: Come on guys, boxers do this for a living, no comparison when it comes to skills. These MMA guys barely have any experience in any of their techniques. They always talk we have this and that, but they really never concentrated just enough on one skill to master it. Only a few have and the number is very small. Nine out ten of these MMA dudes don't even know how to throw a proper or decent jab, lack of defense is evident, and fatigue is always a huge factor thats why we see so many ground game, a lot of them look and are out of shape.
