Agree about Brook. He beats Porter and all of the sudden the guy is promote to elite fighter status. There are some delusional fans in this forum.

Porter is ready to kick broners backside.

If you watch brook fight you can tell he's a very good fighter.
    The resume will come soon.

I think Brook is a worthy challenger and I'd like to see the fight. However, there is zero chance that Mayweather goes to the UK to fight him.

He may be a good fighter, but I do not see how he leap frogs guys like Thurman, heck even Garcia to fight Floyd.

Brook is not a nobody in UK. I think something maybe you do not appreciate is that Matchroom and Sky Sports are the 800lb gorilla of UK boxing. Khan or any Brit fighter fighting Floyd would be a huge deal, you are correct.

But its easy for some people to forget that in the US, Floyd fighting almost anyone at this point... will make headline news on boxing news sites. Floyd fighting a stadium fight in UK co-promoted with the premier UK TV/Promotion will be headline news on UK mainstream media.

I doubt it happens, but its one of the better options amongst a bunch of poor ones. Most likely is probably Floyd KOing Khan in US to 700k PPV buyers, and riding off into sunset unless Manny gets a rematch next year.

Its not about fighter status, its about the strength of publicity and promotion in UK. It would just be a way to avoid the low expectations of a fight post-Manny, and would pay a lot better than some people around here seem to be thinking.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Khan a more popular fighter there? At least that's my impression as a Yank. Khan has a better resume and is a bigger name from my view point.

Porter was the next big thing until he was schooled by Brook and then everyone drops him like a hot potato when he loses and proclaims him a hypejob.

Why is it, that they won't even consider that Porter lost to Brook because Kell is the superior fighter and not because Porter was a bum, and they'll all see how legit Brook is by proxy when Porter bulldozes Broner.:deal

But what about all the corrupt officials that are in Floyd's pocket? Would Golovkin be able to get a fair fight in Vegas?
