    Should beat Canelo in a tough fight, Matthysse/Garcia winner in a tough fight. Maybe Marquez in a rematch or Bradley if he wins. He'll most likely retire undefeated and a first ballot hall of famer.

    Floyd Mayweather avoid the best in his welterweight division, he got scared and took two years off when there were a lot of good fighters in their prime in his division like Cotto and Williams. When he returned, he fought someone two weight divisions below his own division.

    He'll be remembered for fighting boxers from smaller weight divisions like Marquez and Hatton, and faded old guys like Hernandez and age 40 Mosley.

    And he'll be remembered for demanding the catch weight against Canelo.

    I would like to know who is the most recent fighter who is better than Floyd?
    Is there anyone who was still fighting when Floyd turned pro who was better?
    He is the best I have ever seen since I started watching boxing around 1990.

    Floyd is the best boxer I have seen since RJJ.

    However I have prefered Manny's career , I think he has had more highlights and fought overall better competition.

    except he didn?.. and the Equivalent would be him cleaning out the Jr. MW division, which he didnt also, so I dont get your point... plus Getting KTFO and Flat on your face while dreaming on La La land is not Best of generatio material.. :yep
