Discuss. I'm going to Mayweather on this one as crazy as it sounds to some people. Martinez is obviously the bigger man, but Mayweather's speed/handspeed/technical skill will give Sergio a lot of trouble. Sergio has never seen anyone who fights like Floyd.

Martinez and not even close. He is much bigger, much stronger, much more powerful puncher, almost as fast hands, faster feet, better cardio, etc. etc.

Sergio isn't the one who has to worry about Floyd's style, Floyd is the one who never faces opponents who have physical advantages over him, which Sergio has plenty of.

Floyd. I didn't need to see the Macklin fight to know this.

Maravilla would end the pretty boy late while down on the cards. Martinez is not the type to coast to a decision loss and no way floyd is knocking him out. Logical scenario is floyd winning most of the first half of the fight with Martinez coming on late.

Im going with Martinez, I think Floyd could do some good work but we all saw how he was tagged by that right hand of Mosley

Floyd has a bad history with southpaws also, Ortiz and Judah had a lot of success in their fights with him

Sergio is a much bigger man and if the fight was scheduled at 154 he would be coming in at 158-160 come fight night

Sergio to knockout Floyd in Jones-Tarver Fashion

I have Mayweather, purely because he can't do what he did against macklin against floyd, I had the cards equal going into the final round, against mayweather he would have lost almost every round and if he got floyd down with a nine point lead he would do a clotty.

When did Floyd get caught by Mosley?..a MILLION years ago?...He's a student of the game, and he gets better and better each and every fight....He no longer has problems with southpaws...and Ortiz is a MUCH bigger threat than a old Mosley, and didnt catch him with ANYTHING Affective...when he did, Floyd adjusted to his power and walked thru all of the punches and btw..Ortiz came in at 164

I'm still going for Martinez here.. Once he lands a blow, even if it hits the gloves, the arms, or the elbow, or even the shoulder it would hurt Mayweather very much.. :hey

Its either A. Floyd will do the what he did in the Baldomir fight, run all night or B. Do what he did agaisnt Mosley, outmuscle Martinez..

Whatever he do, Martinez will KO him.. :bbb

**** 154 floyd needs that mw belt, martinez in the main mann and quite simply floyd can beat marvilla. hope floyd fights him before ward, but ward might bust him and send him back down to 160 and floyd grab his titles after he polish of wards work.

Id probably lean towards Mayweather. Its probably the fight id want to see most in boxing right now....

But Mayweather is just too smart, and too solid for me to take Sergio over him. However, Id make Sergio the toughest guy Mayweather has ever had to fight and would not at all be surprised if he was able to win. God I want this fight
