Mayweather-Ortiz 1.5 2mil buys?? Best card in years??

    I just read that CNN will be showing the 24/7 series also with HBO. Thats great news because that will capture more casual fans to our great sport of boxing. Add Canelo which alot of ppl are following, even casual fans know him already, Morales on the card against a great oppenet in Lucas and Mexican independence day weekend!!! I think its the best boxing card in a very long time!! How many buys you think?

    If it was a regular undercard Mayweather-Ortiz still does 1-1.3 Mil buys. You add Canelo and Morales I really think close to 2 mil buys is gonna happen. Canelo is a superstar and everybody knows Morales, I cant wait!!!

    If you also have tickets to the fight, I think they just added Collazo to the card in Vegas so This card is truely LOADED!!

    Count on it, already know 3 casual Mexi's at work that are ordering it... Even some filipinos at work gonna get in on that action as most feel Ortiz is gonna knock mayweather out, as ortiz is one of his most legit foes in recent time.

    Agree. Ortiz is gonna bring the fight to Mayweather all night and wont back down. I think it will be one of Mayweathers most exciting fights in awhile

    My estimate is that this will do really well.... showing 24/7 on CNN , with that undercard? Canelo and Morales on the Undercard?

    It will do well, and the problem with that is that I see Mayweather possibly using this as his ticket out of the fight with Pac... His PPV will do well and then he'll demand 60/40 or 55/45 or something, which of course Pac will never agree to, and very well shouldn't.

    Can't help but agree with you there. The fight with Pac will never happen anyway, these guys only talk about possibly fighting each other when they're already scheduled to fight to clearly help promote it. When they're both free and seriously ready to negotiate talks die quickly.

    I used to worry before about how many PPV's but now I just stream it online and I don't pay anymore to watch fight. I wish I could tell you all the free website but I don't wanna get ban

    One of the best cards I've seen in a REALLY long time. Usually it's crap main event with great undercard, or great main event with crap undercard. This time it's great main event (in my opinion) with great undercard. Probably will sell tons!

    I'm not too keen on the main even but I'll watch it to see Morales v Matthyse without a doubt. Not that I have to buy it on PPV anyway since it'll be free on Sky Sports over here.
