Floyd is a little ***** for talking to his old man like that, called him a ******?. But i doubt its anything floyd snr hasnt heard before. Dysfunctional family, par for the course id say.

Some are questioning whether it was contrived. Sounded real to me.

Im of the belief that respect is earn't. Just because you get a woman pregnant don't make you a father, If Snr was any type of real father his kid wouldn't have been brought up to talk to him like that, If my old man was locked up for selling crack he wouldnt have my respect either

floyd senior is an utter ****wit. His only claim to fame is is that he got jr into boxing yet he wants ALL the credit for jr's success. its like he thinks hes the one in there actually doing the fighting.

    Jnr is just a brat

you'd think that seein as they are both grown men and claim they are smart people that they could just man up put all of their pride aside n try to patch up their relationship.

This is a supposed first hand account of what happened by someone who was there.

Da Truth on The Mayweather Jr. & Mayweather Sr. feud
    By George Cotton Jr
victor ortizmayweather exclusivefloyd mayweather sr.floyd mayweather jr.24/7 mayweather-ortiz0 COMMENTS and 0 REACTIONS

Some things I believe in going to thegrave with. “Blood is thicker than mud.” Floyd Mayweather Sr. said on histhoughts of his relationship with his son. Well that was at least his thoughtsbefore what occurred a few weeks ago right before my eyes…something the worldsaw on HBO & CNN. For two weeks I told no one what I witnessed on that daybecause this was flat out uncomfortable to watch. Just minutes and I meanminutes before…. I was just joking around and chatting with both Jr. & Sr.

Floyd Jr. just got through putting in anothergreat day of camp in which he showed no mercy on his sparring partners andworked out nonstop, something that is common for training camp for FloydMayweather. It was an unusually nice crowd in the gym that day filled withfamily and friends who witnessed one of Juniors best days in camp so far. Now bothmen are super competitive….on every level. From who dances better, to justabout any & everything. I can sit here now and tell you how much an honorit is to be able to witness one of the greatest boxers ever to lace up glovesgo to work any day of the week I choose. Not many media members can say that…I’veseen the news thrown out while DaTruthBoxing.com gets let in.

However sometimesyou see things you wish you didn’t see….this was one of them. For those thatthink this was staged or acting, I can tell you first hand and forget anythingelse you heard or read on other websites because I was standing right there inmy STL fitted cap…this **** was not staged by no means. As a matter of fact, the HBO crew was already done filming for the day and put their **** back intheir bags and started pulling out the cameras as everything was unfolding. Itall started when a new female fighter who is supported by Floyd Jr. came up totake a picture with the legendary boxer. Then Floyd Sr. came up to her and saidhow he had a fighter he trains with NO amateur experience that could stop Jr.’sfighter in the 1st . While both men were joking at the beginning, things got real heated when Jr. stated to Sr. “Trainers don’t make the fighter,it’s up to the fighter.” Floyd Sr. then stated “I made you!” They went back andforth for a while on who was the better trainer Roger or Floyd Sr. as well asJr. stating “Nobody wants to train with you everybody left you!! De La Hoya,Hatton, everybody leaves you!” Floyd Jr.then got irate over something Sr. said that I will go to the grave with…and allHELL BROKE LOOSE! Things got reallyoutta hand and quite frankly all this coulda been avoided. We all have ourproblems, and I can’t sit here and say that I haven’t had similar disagreementswith my father almost word for word. Part of me wanted to step in and say something….but it wouldn’t have mattered, and besides I stay outta family biz. Despitewhat was shown to the world, I know father and son love each other dearly.Unfortunately it looks like the success of Floyd Jr. has made a negative effecton father and son’s relationship. I’ve talked to Floyd Sr. on many occasions abouthis relationship with his son on and off the record and one thing shinesthrough…. He very is proud of his son…not necessarily proud of his lifestyle.Floyd Sr. did time when Jr. was en route to the Olympics and I think Jr. feelsthe pain to this day of his absence….hopefully everything is mended before itstoo late. Jeff Mayweather, Floyd Mayweather Sr., Roger Mayweather, Nate Jones, and countless others have all help make Floyd Mayweather Jr. one of boxing’sgreatest fighters of all times. All I can say is…. I wonder what Victor Ortizwas thinking on Saturday night……

Floyd Mayweather Jr makes great tv, his argument with his Floyd Snr I reckon was real but imo he went a bit overboard just to get the ratings and more attention for the fight.

Ortiz is not a household name so it's a crafty, albeit quite unusual way to build hype for the fight.
