Mayweather said earlier that him fighting in July this year was bull****.

If this fight pulls through, I'm just going to say that Floyd is a certified genius at opponent selection.

I like this fight, floyd was obviously looking for berto but since he lost taking on ortiz is a good choice.

    In many eyes yes.

Unlike Arum, Floyd can analyze the fighters in the ring and measure himself among them before selecting them as his opponents. Arum is not a fighter, he's a promoter. I'd wager he selects Pac's opponents by looking through data and determines the risk vs marketability of a certain fight. The only problem with this is that others can see the data as well and criticize it.

typical...floyd signs for a fight 3-4 days before pac fights...this is getting old

I'd be surprised if he took it, also if he won.

Damn I thought floyd had left us I never expected him to come back and face the guy i'd been calling for pac to take on! (Wanted berto instead of mosley and then hoped for ortiz to be next for pac)

I tell ya, those writing off ortiz should be wary. Watch him ktfo of pretty boy if this is real talk!
